If you have a sweet tooth, this place will make it fall off. Found a cute little sweet shop in the medieval town of St Paul de Vence in the south of France. There are a bunch of delicious looking candies and cookies that are enticing even to me, who doesn't have a sweet tooth. Everything is beautifully displayed and plastic gloves are available for the customers to handle the merchandise. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Everything you buy is put into beautiful tin boxes or cans. All of this come at a price; things in this little shop are not cheap. read more

Only try the sample if you have $ as you won't be able to resist filling up a little bag to take home with you. My personal favorite was their lemon cookie. It reminded me of a shortbread cookie with superb lemon flavoring. I wanted to share it with my sisters but I didn't because I couldn't part from it. I also enjoyed their small biscuits filled with caramel. I tried their other location in Nice but they weren't as fresh as the ones here. read more

While we were walking through St. Paul de Vence, we found this cute little bakery. We were lured inside from their 'taste test' offerings, so we couldn't resist. Pastries were 3.70 euro per 100mg, so we bought some cookies to take with us! They were delicious, almost all the flavors were yummy... Try to stop by if you're in the area. read more

I made the possible mistake of entering this candy shop, and I discovered the most amazing lollipops ever. They're huge, and their flavors are SPOT ON. I'm still yearning for more of the coconut (possibly the coconuttiest coconut flavor I've ever had, outside of Hawaiian-made pina-coladas) and cola flavored suckers. The staff here was also super helpful and kind, they ignored my poor, broken French skills and helped me as best they could in English, which was so generous. I would definitely stop here if I ever have the fortune to return to this cute little town. read more

We didn't plan on buying anything at this beautiful shop. But when the nicest lady offered us the best samples of almond cookies, chocolate, etc we couldn't resist buying gifts to take home. It was great fun. Btw get the Carmel-wow!! read more
