Me and my family have been living in the area for several years and coming from an Italian family it is great to know that there is still an honest to goodness, unpretentious Italian restaurant around. The decor might be dated but that adds to the mystique and flavour of the site. The menu is quite extensive with many favourites as well as Regional dishes. I highly recommend the Garlic Bread and Tricolore salad as a starter, the soups are lovely as well. Any of the Veal, Lamb or Steaks are absolutely wonderful, tender and expertly cooked, good enough to rival any other Restaurant in the area. The Dessert trolley is also something magnificent to behold, many home-made desserts, such as Tiramisu,Profiteroles,Creme Caramel,Fruit Salad and many others. The service is impeccable, always a friendly face and smile and the staff are very attentive.
On a number of occasions we have brought guests from Italy to eat there and they raved about it. Thank you to everyone at Dolce Vita for always making our journey there pleasurable. read more
