Everything from the menu, to the service, to the general feeling of the place is extremely pleasant, clearly the result of years of tradition, experience, study and love, as this place is the result of the long story of a family of food lovers, in the tradition of the Romagna the fish cuisine. Guido has in the years more and more detached from the rather unimaginative Romagna food tradition with bouts and leaps of creativity that go well beyond any local tradition, to a result that borders the experience of some starred restaurants twice or thrice the price. Don't be fooled by the idea of choosing one or two courses: the complete menu may sound a little pricey but it's the best way to experience the full spectre of flavors that Guido's chef has carefully imagined, tried, crafted. In the end the Menu Degustazione is a much better choice, also pricewise. You don't often get to eat in this kind of place in Rimini, so you might as well enjoy it, and if you don't know what to choose just trust them. With wines, too. I don't know enough about wines to order knowledgeably in a place like this so I let the sommelier decide for me, and to the day he has never ceased to amaze and surprise me with whites with delicate smells of vanilla, fruit, every time something different. If you reserve in a warm summer (and always do reserve) get a table outside and enjoy the cool sea breeze, as a perfect complement of the flavors you'll find in your rather small but delightful courses. Expect to spend about 80 euros/person with a decent bottle of wine, and expect to not regret it.

The fish "cappuccino" was basically a shot-sized, layered-like-cappuccino, completely silky clam chowder, only minus the clams and anything solid. While I often wonder why, this was truly unique. Most of the other menu items range from solid to very good. Spaghetti with oyster was a unique take, elegantly enough done, as was the cuttlefish with cheese, which worked surprisingly well. The addition of the raw oyster set was perhaps the best item on the menu, but much like the fried calamari (I forget the menu's actual name for this), hard to justify such a high rating by Michelin for. The service, while very good, was a bit lacking in the little details you would expect from this level of restaurant. For what is a 2+ hour meal full of starters before you even start your actual order, the price is reasonable for a Michelin star. Is it really justified? That is... less convincing.

The lasagna was soft, pillowy, and decadent without being heavy, the tagliatelle was al dente and flavorful, and the tortellini stuffed with creamy ricotta. For dessert we split a generous portion of tiramisu, which was creamy and rich. We had a couple bottles of Chianti. The ambiance is relaxing with a neighborhood vibes. They didn't have any tables outside so we were seated inside. Service (3.5/5): No WiFi unfortunately which isn't great for an international traveler like me. Standard European service. Not terribly friendly and not terribly efficient but I would say they were a bit more attentive than the norm. They did hook us up with some complimentary limoncello shots which was a really nice touch. Ambiance (3.5/5): A little quieter since it's off the beaten path which I like. A pleasant, homey restaurant. Drinks (4.5/5): We shared a bottle of wine. And the aforementioned limoncello shots. Food (4/5): We went with their pasta for two deal where each person gets three different types of pasta that you choose from six or so options. I love getting a variety of dishes so this was a nice way to do it. Not huge portions given the price but still delicious. The dishes were served to us quickly and we got to try some pastas we had never heard of. Overall: When in Bologna, Osteria Broccaindosso makes for a fine choice. It's a 15-minute walk or so from the center of town.

The ingredients are fresh and each one is made to order. We love sitting out on patio eating. But more importantly, they make amazing GLUTEN FREE food for my daughter. One of the owners has a daughter who eats gluten free, and she (the owner) is so good with my daughter's allergies. We love this restaurant!!!

There was a champagne and porchetta special that I happily took advantage of. The champagne was meh. But oh my that sandwich. Preludio does the only "whole hog" porchetta I've ever had. So there were tiny bits of chopped liver and organ meat, which added an earthy "animal depth I've never had before. It was delightful. The "memory of a pizza" was very unique yet quite forgettable in the end, and the amuse brioches were all a huge letdown. Service, unfortunately, seals the rating. What is usually a highlight of Michelin-starred restaurants barely made a modicum of effort to keep the water glasses refilled or table swept of crumbs. Considering just how much Michelin focuses on service in their ratings (nevermind what you'd expect at this price!), it more than offset the half of the menu that did make the effort.
