As it was morning, the outdoor cafe wasn't open but folks were just coming in to grab and go. By all means if you come here, please you MUST try the **ensaimada de crema** (might also be called "ensaimadeta")! It was different from others I've tried, it's not just a spiral of creme but it was all pooled into the center. Order your food at the counter and find a table in the cozy cafe. Our order of croissants and cafes were placed on stainless serving dishes. They had lots of the local sweet breads in boxes to take with you. We enjoyed the smoked salmon on fresh bread plus a few sweet danish.
