First of all the place is stunning, old school Spanish decor but beautiful nonetheless. I wasn't really hungry but the pictures on google looked too good to pass up. Upon sitting down I was presented with a few plates of tapas, some almonds, potato chips and sausages. Of course it's a steakhouse but I went for the tuna loin with plum sauce. Divine. It also came with a large plate of fries. At the end of the meal I was given a bottle of Pedro Ximenez and some Toblerone. Would actually come back to Madrid just for that meal. Loved the service as well, I couldn't even pour myself a glass of water without someone rushing over to handle it for me. Really impeccable from start to finish.

Most of their menu consists of fried noodle, fired rice, etc. Basically your stereotypical Chinese food but since we were tired of the fried food we ordered dishes that were not on their menu. You can make these request but make sure to know what you want and also make sure these are typical dishes you would see at a restaurant; it shouldn't be something like orange chicken but instead more along the lines of noodle soup, or chicken mushroom.

Service: I do have to say that the service was exceptionally accommodating. When we got there, the host quickly realized we were American and found us an English speaking waitress. That in itself is one star. We were seated in a corner tucked away from everyone surrounded by only a few couples. Two stars for making things romantic! I ordered some cava expecting a glass for the price listed, and I got a whole bottle. Three stars! We felt very well served and this made the experience that much better. Food: The food! So good! So fresh. I ate this huge steak which was bigger than my head (and I have a huge head, lol). My wife had an octopus dish which was tender and delicious. I pretty much loaded up on cava so the rest of the night was a blur, but I do remember the food, and it was GOOD! Final Thoughts: Because this was the first restaurant I've ever been to in Spain, I am a bit bias. They recognized us as english speaking early on and brought a full translated menu. 2 appetizers, 5 entrees, 2 desserts, 5 beers and a bottle of wine = 156 Euros!!
