I ate way too much and I haven't felt so full before but there were no regrets afterward. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. My favorites came out strong from the start with the Crescentine Con Salumi E Bolognesita. The variety of meats with the puffy bread. Sooo tasty and satisfying especially when paired with the provided pickled veggies and other side. The Tortellini Soup was subtly savory and so warm and cozy to eat. The Tagliatelle Al Ragu was a solid dish with perfectly cooked noodles and a delicious ragu. The Cotoletta was very unnecessary since I was already full by this point but I figured I was on holiday and really wanted to try this scrumptious looking dish. And scrumptious it was! So good. The Panna Cotta was ideal to end the meal and it was very soft and not overly sweet. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu as well as a wine pairing suggestion. I was very satisfied with the suggested wine and had an overall fantastic dinner experience.

DO NOT miss the cheese ice cream appetizer and their Lasagna (signature dish of the city!) Our servers were awesome, cool, and friendly. Make reservations ahead of time; this place is always packed, and if you're in Bologna and didn't eat at Trattoria Da Me, did you really go to Bologna?

The two men were fantastic and accommodating. The young woman was the opposite. She was rude and curt. I ordered mineral water, thinking she would ask for gas or no gas. Instead, she told me, "It no exist. We have water flat or frizzante." The bottle she brought was labeled aqua minerale. I speak Italian but have a pretty thick regional Sicilian accent when I speak Italian. I wasn't speaking a dialect. I was trying to order a dish, and she cut me off and rudely told me she didn't understand me in English. I speak Italian better than she speaks English but carry on. I'm American for all intent and purpose, and I was with my family, who are Americans, but this stinky attitude toward foreigners of Italian descent is tiresome. You'd thought ordered pasta Alfredo with gabagool and mutzarel. It makes me not want to speak Italian.

Ended up at this place because of the smells coming from the restaurant. The pizza was delicious, salad was fresh and amazing ... the tiramisu was off the charts. Gentleman assisted us was very helpful. We recommend to everyone passing through since many of us come through for the Lambo and Ferrari factory. It's not fancy ... but we just wanted good food and we found it here. Thank you. We still talk about it.
