The salmon I ordered came served on bed of polenta with fresh veggies and nicely grilled leek. There wa an excellent veggie sauce. The salmon itself was excellent. Very much enjoyed the dish. The wife ordered a pasta with veggies. The mushrooms especially were superb. I was full after eating my dish but had to eat some of of hers it was so good. Finally we got an excellent tiramisu served with a side of chocolate crumbles and vanilla ice cream. I see most of the reviews are for lunch but i highly recommend staying in town and giving this a try'. There are fancier places with higher ratings if you want to spend double the amount not sure it would be twice as good

They legitimately have a blackboard for their menu. And he brought one upstairs for another table to look at while he grabbed us some water. We were there for Saint Emilion wine and so far I had not had a glass of wine from that region that I liked. So I asked for a recommendation. He came back with a small taste that I didn't prefer. He came back twice after. I finally liked the third one! My husband went with the second one, because he was feeling bad sending this guy running back and forth downstairs for wine, but he actually preferred the third one as well. See pic. The menu is limited and changes daily. We shared two appetizers and two entrees. Everything was so fresh and healthy. We opted against dessert since we had picked up the local famous cookies earlier. Service was excellent, from the guy I presume to be the owner. There is one chef downstairs cooking everything. Seems there are locals that stop for lunch at the bar area in the first level. They have one bathroom for customers, it is clean and well stocked. There is some parking - there is a cafe across the street that has two spots. However, it's a narrow street so you'd be safer to park further and walk here. I don't believe there is an elevator so the limited mobility folks would have to stay on the first floor. There is no ADA accessible ramp. You could probably get food to go if you were unable to get inside. This was a refreshing break from the typical cuisine we were having all week. I would eat here again. I love that they have a rotating, quality focused menu.

They serve a daily menu, but they are happy to accommodate. I specified we were vegan when we made the reservation, and we were happy to have an app and a main offered. For the main, I ordered the lamb dish for two people and shared it with someone else. It was a massive portion! Definitely a lot bigger than expected. Friendly service even though we asked for something they don't serve during lunch. So why remove a star this time. I have to differentiate these wonderful places and my only complaint is you have a menu on the street but aren't serving everything on the menu at that time. It's odd. The menu on the street advertised a plate of farmed cheese but that was only a dinner option and we were there during lunch. Why advertise it then? Anyway, be forewarned and remember the current "carte" is what they give you at the table-not what they advertise at the street. Nevertheless, they did have a charcuterie board and they gave it to us with only cheese, and they offered it-we didn't even ask. You know what? 5 stars. I changed it before posting. I don't care if the rest of my review no longer makes sense. There's no reason to take a star away.
