History
Established in 1998.
This beautiful historic grade II listed building on the High street has been a popular eatery and watering hole for over 12 consecutive years.
The venue has slowly evolved into La Fourchette Brasserie; by definition, a fully licensed popular, relaxed eating and drinking establishment.
Ever keen to offer the best without compromise, Chef Philippe sources the best local ingredients and imports some of the unique wines and beers directly.
Meet the Business Owner: Gilli, Paul and Philippe M.
We are 3 people who have been in the food, bar and drinks industry most of our lives. Totnes is our home and La Fourchette Brasserie is our chance to apply everything that's delighted us whilst living or working our way around Europe. We've carefully chosen like minded, passionate and skilled characters to join our team, and then rolled all this into one!
Born and raised in the Ardeche, head chef Philippe Metral brings to Totnes all the secrets of simple, delicious French cooking. Philippe and his talented team use their breadth of experience to prepare and cook wonderfully honest and tasty local food with French inspiration.
