It's definitely a place you will need to be purposely searching for as this business does not jump out at you until you are right on top of it. As it is a narrow business with limited seating, it will be hit or miss if you get an inside table as most of the sales that were happening while I was there was takeout. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for sit down dining. Overall, I rarely have had ice cream this good and if you are a fan of well-made ice cream then this is a business you should definitely check out if you are in the Gothic quarter.

The line was fast moving and I ordered the vegan gelato of strawberry and a scoop of lemon / ginger. The strawberry was very strong and bold. I know they are in season currently. The lemon and ginger was refreshing and again, very bold. Both scoops were very sweet, sour and a bit tart as one would expect. Parallelo is a good option to try for a scoop of gelato in Barcelona. Arrrggg Each week there they have a "sabor de semana" (flavor of the week) and we were allowed to try before ordering. I immediately fell in love with the natural yogurt whereby my partner really liked the flavor of the week: melon, which was a bit too sweet for me but the yogurt: oh my word. Now we had to choose a topping.....and there I stumbled......overwhelmed by the colorful sauces, flakes and smarties I went for something crunchy. Once we have paid (2€ per person) we took our frozen yogurts and went outside to enjoy our sin ( but hey: hardly any calories in yogurt, right?) The taste was delicious!!!!
