La comida esta mas o menos. Vine para almuerzar con mi family y cada quien pedimos nuestro propio Plato. El servicio estaba bien, pero el restaurant estaba solo. No habia ambiente. My hijo pedio La Enchiladas Morelianas. Honestamente esperaba mas de este platlillo. Me madre y mi esposa lo hace bien delicioso, pero aqui tenia un sabor my commercial y no de casa. Mi esposa pedio una Sopa Tarasca. Este si estaba bueno. Estaba cremosa, y tenia un bueno sabor. Yo pide unos uchepos sin carne. Me lo servieron con crema y queso arriba de los uchepos. Si estaban buenos. Para el postre pedimos unos Chongos Zamoranos. Estaban bien dulce y bien sabrosos. Lo unico Que no se es si lo hacen en casa o son de Lata. We had an enjoyable experience here. Our waiter, Cristian, was a true gentleman, very helpful, and attentive to every detail. They greet you with tortilla chips and bread in the center, along with three delicious salsas. Needless to say, the food was DELICIOUS, and the dishes were very filling. This is the second time here and unfortunately the food quality just does not meet the hype. The ambience is lacking, looks like they just hoard random objects. For the price of the food I shouldn't have to get up so you charge my card and then have the nerve to ask for a tip. Gave it a couple of try's but will not be returning on my next trip. read more

Obviously, being near the city center, the prices are a little more expensive than elsewhere, however, the food was really great, and the portion sizes were reasonable for that price. Before I begin, as one of the other reviewers mentioned, this place is quite hard to find. We used Yelps and Google maps direction and kept going up and down the street and couldn't find it. The lower sign reads something different. The actual sign is high above, which can only be seen if you're across the street. Look for the man sized cut out of a chef and you'll find it quickly. This place is a gem. The service was great especially since my Spanish is very limited. The waiter was very patient with us. I ordered the Rojo Posole and my friend order the steak plate. The portion was larger than expected. It came with a side plate which included sliced lettuce, oregano, diced onions, sliced radishes, lime, two tortillas, and avocado. OMG! The favlor was unbelievable and the pork was ever so tender. Loved every sip of it. My friends beef was super tender. Cooked to perfection. His steak included sauteed onions and baby potatoes. He really enjoyed it. We took our dessert to go churros. Great flavor. Although this place is hard to find it's worth the hunt. read more

I went to this location for a late dinner. Staff was rude and un-attentive, it took 35 minutes for someone to take my order. Once the food arrived it was cold, and seemed like microwaved leftover food. The decorations were nice, thats it! read more

This joint was a bit hard to find, as there was not a sign erected with the advertised name, just 'comida regional' Disregarding that, this place is a must try for breakfast. The building itself is beautiful, and well decorated within. With every entree, you are offered not only coffee, but a choice of fresh juices, and a fruit plate. You can't go wrong with the chilaquiles, corundas, tamales, enchiladas, or churros, if you're in need of a major sugar rush. Trust me, visit this spot for breakfast! read more

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at one of the nearby hotels by the city center and Yelp reviews did not disappoint. The website is a little deceiving and doesn't show the full menu so they do sell more than snacks and hot chocolate. My husband and I came with the in-laws and everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband and I split the molcajete mixto which was amazing- a variety of chicken, carne asada, chorizo and peppers and onions cooked in a savory sauce with fresh tortillas. My father in law loved his tacos. I also ordered the sopa tarasca, which is one of Morelia's regional dishes and it was wonderful. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner, and then stopping by one of the nearby spots on the street for gaspacho (Morelian fruit salad)! read more

Wow this place was excellent food, beautiful decor, service was also very attentive. They had these two guys serenading us next to our table. Felt like we where is Argentina. The place is kind hidden, but it was worth the hunt. I'll give you a clue its across the street from Tragadero just in case your gps can't help it is on a side street behind the Cathedral. This food is okay. My mom got the pozole and it wasn't good. It seemed over cooked. My dad got a plate with rice and beans and the rice and beans were not good. I forgot what kind of meat he got but it was okay overall, however my dad has never been picky and will eat thing to not let them go to waste. As for my plate I got Bistec a la tampiquena, which was ok. Overall, there are much better places to eat for cheaper if you are looking to try more authentic Mexican food. read more

This place is just the cutest to take pictures. The food was good as well. Drinks were very unique. I would diff want to come back.

Went here for dinner and then breakfast. Their service is ok a little slow for me. I got the enchiladas placeras con carne asada which were really good, the hot chocolate is amazing absolutely loved it! I'm so confused, the food was cold, salsas were terrible!!! I have family in Morelia and travel here often, we usually have street food (Morelia's is the best) but felt like a sit down place. Such a disappointment, such a huge let down. Go to any street food vendor and save money and have the best food ever. This place sucks. read more
