They called me back and said that they didn't work in our area, but the man that I spoke with asked me about our problem and then walked me through some possible solutions over the phone. Turns out we were able to do the repair ourselves and saved hundreds since we didn't have to call Sears (who charges $99 just to walk in the door!). Thanks so much for all your help! If we ever find ourselves in need of appliance service in Tioga county, you'll be first on our list!

When we first signed up, there was a week they forgot, but they offered to come pick up on a day that usually isn't their "pick up day". They then refunded me for the entire month, which they didn't have to do! As for payments, I personally, I think it's gross when people leave cash or checks attached to their trash can. Unless it's a tip, I suppose. I always mail my payment in and have never had an issue. I've also never heard of a bank charging one for a cancelled check? Looks like you need a new bank, Rich!

So we move to Williamsport & when looking for a garbage removal service they were the 2nd we contacted, the 1st didn't pick up in our area. The first 3 months were uneventful, they'd miss a pick up probably once a month, not a huge deal; I would put a check in the garbage can once a month & they deposit it. So then a few months goes by & they don't cash the check I wrote them out, OK maybe they just did not have a chance to run to the bank. Next month same thing, I wrote a check, put it in the can, once again they don't cash it. So I call, I'm told by a woman who answered the phone that they have been having trouble with one of their employees throwing out the checks. Ok nice, they want me to start mailing them in. One problem they don't want to cover the charge of my bank for the cancelled checks. They say no forget about it you don't have to cancel them, yea ok do I sound like a idiot . I asked them do you have a returned check fee? why yes they do. So if I wrote a bad check they'd penalize me, but when some moron employee throws away money, they want me to cover their mistakes. Anyway one day they just stopped picking up, I call no answer, leave a message asking what's up? No return call. So finally I call & leave a message saying I found someone else to handle our trash, who BTW is $5 a month less than Bodnar. & about a week later get a letter from Bodnar saying we're talking you to court. Real nice huh? Do yourself a favor call around but skip these guys these people don't understand customer service or professionalism.
