The schnitzel I had was crispy and soft all together with the soft being the inside and crispy the breading. The four Gras was so delicious and soft as-well and the tenderloin steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Elegant atmosphere with quiet environment. This place is a must try with reasonable prices for a place as elegant as here.

Karlovy Vary as a town does not get too busy even during tourist season so I would not imagine having to wait very long for a seat if at all. The interior is like that of a log cabin. I can't say for international food options, but Czech specials where awesome! Portions are huge, but so good so you ending up more then just full. Who doesn't like a restaurant that has its own brewery?!?!…read more I saw two recent reviews here on Yelp and the low ratings. My food, and the food of my wife and friends, was pretty damn good. As for service, I understand what they're saying. My wife is Slovak and my friends Czech, so I didn't have to deal with the language barrier but a couple of the waiters looked like they just sucked on lemons. Sure, you could say that they were rude but I think this behavior is reserved for tourists. For some reason they don't seem to like tourists. Pathetic, I know. My advice is to just have a few of the delicious draft beers, order some chunks of hearty meat and kill the waiters with kindness laced with a bit of sarcasm. Don't let sad people spoil your experience.

Different types of coffee with a good price considering the other places like Pupp Cafe. I visited Karlovy Vary in September 2019. Being a coffee-lover, I was disappointed by the quality of coffee in Karlovy Vary. I tried coffee at Famous Pupp cafe, in Venus hotel and on the Main Street in the different cafe houses-- nothing special. In Cafe Kava I tried a few different types -- great taste. Loved the variety and the price.

We walked the entire length of the river with its mineral fountains, alternately partaking of the waters and examining restaurant menus in search of this holy grail. We had pretty much resigned ourselves to a basic nondescript meal near our apartment, when we came across this establishment, with a menu that went on for pages. One of these pages even mentioned steak tartare! So in we went and were immediately seated in the downstairs dining area between a raucous group of local women and a table of card-playing men. We ordered a dish of the aforementioned raw beef and sundry other appetizers, plus a main course for each member of a family with wildly-diverging tastes. All got what we wanted, a good time was had, and the service was excellent. Although we were inside, there is also outdoor seating as this is located in a pedestrian-only zone.
