It is a typical Spanish bakery with empanadas, pan artesano, hogaza gallega, helados artesanos, pastelería. And then there is Chiquipan. A great place to have your child loose all its energy with a place for babies, toddlers/children (up to 12 years) and a small football field. Everything is super safe, soft ground and all. This bakery it's part of a local chain that has recently added cafes to almost all their establishments. Their artisan bread or "pan de leña" is freshly handmade everyday, Additionally they also have an assortment of cakes, pastry a and other types of handmade bread such as the superb "pan de millo" or corn bread, with its characteristic dark colour. But after a bite of this tortilla, I was disappointed to find the inside fairly liquidy (gross?) and plop! - the entire slice collapsed on the plate. The empanadilla did not fare much better. Both the crust and the filling were very dry. The dryness translated to a lack of flavor for both the meat filling and the pastry shell. The meal was not a complete bust - I enjoyed my coffee and was able to read Faro de Vigo in a relaxing environment.
