We got a little bit of everything which included a caramel macaroon, chocolate du pain, kouign amann, and the famous mille feuille! All were perfectly executed and tasted amazing. The macaroon had the perfect egg like shell with a chewy center, not to mention the caramel was caramelized to perfection and so buttery. The chocolate du pain is so common in France, in yet, Grain de Vanille still excelled. Perfect layers and the chocolate was still warm from the oven. Mmm. Lastly the Mille feuile! This is the real reason I wanted to go here is to try this pastry full of layers and pastry cream. Anthony said that you had to preorder but it must of gotten so popular that now they have personal pieces to buy. It was delicious. One of the best bakeries I have ever been to..
