Bread and olives came on the table as well, bread was quite chewy and fresh. For my main, I got the Tomasa without sour cream, and while the pizza was huge, the crust was thin. The center got soggy though so I wasn't too big a fan of it. The flavors on the pizza were okay, and I asked for chili oil which wasn't too spicy and didn't have much flavor either. For dessert, I got the tiramisu which was quite tasty but had too much cream. The actual cake part was moist and tasty, really liked that part. Service was meh, was a bit difficult to ask for items but to be fair, she had quite a big crowd to serve.

It's right outside the entrance to the Sauvignyplatz train station, so obviously it's a really convenient place to eat breakfast if you're staying in the Charlottenburg area. I'm not sure where the twelve apostles come into play because I don't recall having any religious experience while dining here, but they definitely serve decent food if you're in a hurry to get on the S-Bahn. Most eat al fresco in the morning as the commuters scurry by them, but I took a seat inside next to the window. They offer several omelets on their breakfast menu, and I landed on the 7.50-Euro Calzione Contadina with bacon, onion, potatoes and lots of butter in what looked to be at least a three-egg concoction with sliced tomatoes and cornichons on the side (see photo). Hearty stuff at the beginning of a tour day. A big cup of Cappuccino for 3 Euros nicely complemented the meal (see photo). Service was a bit scattered, but I'd come back if only to try the pizza. We scarfed down our pizza and salad in no time flat. Yum. The only downside is that the bathroom is located in a really odd spot: right in front of a pinball machine. Anyone playing pinball or whatever game is there will have his or her rear end just inches away from the bathroom door.
