For an Argentine Steakhouse, all of the food was extremely fatty, almost no meat, and all fat... the empanada and service was good though.

Another reviewer made a comment that this is not French food. Well, you're in Argentina so it's going to be their spin on it. Some the salads could definitely be French. It certainly looks like a French bistro with the white tile on the walls etc. We sat outside and the thing started well getting a caipirinha and the cute little basket of bread with the beet dip. We ordered the stuffed zucchini blossom with a salad and the highly acclaimed watermelon and tomato salad. Have always wanted to taste stuffed zucchini blossoms and had no idea how bitter they were. It really needed something sweet to offset it and there was nothing on the plate that could help. The rest of the salad was good with the light vinaigrette and the slices of brie but that stuffed zucchini flower - it was way too bitter. If that's the way they all taste I will never order them again. The watermelon and tomato salad had a very nice vinaigrette with lots of fresh herbs some slices of onion and then some really creamy almost like burrata like cheese. It was fantastic. Then we waited, and waited, and waited probably 45 minutes before we got our entrées which were the garganelli pasta with ragout of lamb and the rectangular shaped ravioli filled with ricotta and mushrooms served with sautéed mushrooms on it. Both were excellent but the lamb ragout needed salt and they had taken the salt away from the table after our appetizers and we did not notice. The ricotta and mushroom stuffed pasta was seasoned with the perfect amount of salt and pepper, lots of butter and nicely sautéed mushrooms that had strong mushroom flavor. We might just return for lunch!

The menu has salads with warm shrimp or chicken, a dig a station of grilled provolone cheese, your usual meets with slight twists like a eggplant dip on top of your roasted potatoes with your steak. They bring a bread basket with two slices of tomato focaccia, two slices of a cherry wheat bread, one dense white roll and a slice if a soft white bread. It was served with a pickle aioli topped with shredded marinated carrots. Very light and fresh. We tried the empanadas (3 for $155) and they were made with chopped beef and lots of smoky paprika. It was almost too flavorful and great with the pickle aioli. The warm langoustine salad had only five langoustines (which were nicely seasoned and perfectly tender) but lots of arugula and frisée. The arugula was a bit overpowering versus the langoustines. It had 3 thin slices of grilled peach and 3 thin slices of avocado. It also had about 10 cherry tomatoes and two long homemade breadsticks. The salad was lightly dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. Very fresh, light salad. We also had the small ribeye with roasted potatoes topped with an eggplant spread and a small salad. All great flavors. We had asked for the ribeye to come without the cheese but they forgot. We took it off and ate it separately. Service was friendly and efficient. Certainly a modern version if an Argentinean steakhouse.

We stayed in central Mendoza and it was only a six minute walk from our hotel. The inside has a gorgeous ambiance with several tables for two or four. It's very nicely decorated! We chose to go with the four course meal when making our reservation and it's a good thing we did because it was SO much food!! The food itself was excellent and the rib eye might be the best I've ever had. Each course was lovely and they did a great job of explaining the ingredients to us. We also got the wine pairing with each course. We ended the night with coffee and petit fours. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone going to Mendoza! It's delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and experience!

We opted for the four-course tasting menu. (The seven course option is just too much for me.) My wife had the wine pairings; I had a glass of fabulous local Cabernet Sauvignon with the main course. I assume the menu changes with seasons so I won't bore you with descriptions except to say that each was lovely. There was an emphasis on local dishes deconstructed and put back together by a Michelin one-star chef. All in all, it was a lovely meal, in beautiful ambience, with amazing service. And a very happy anniversary. One tip: the restaurant's website indicated they were fully booked. I sent a WhatsApp message and it turned out they indeed had a table available.
