    French Onion soup

Excellent Lamb Chops and one of the beat french onion soups I have ever tasted! Great service and ambience. Located off Champs Elysee.

Unforgettable experience, welcoming staff, and amazing food. From the moment, my friend and I walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone. We didn't have reservations and were seated immediately. We ordered the foie gras de canard, escargots, burrata aubergines, os a moelle, entrecote, creme brûlée vanille, and chateau La seignerie rosé. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The quality of the food and the warm hospitality made for an excellent dining experience. This is a must visit spot when in Paris.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food was high end comfort French food. The pate and the escargot were extremely flavorful. The salmon entree and the filet mignon were great. Truly lovely atmosphere.

La Maison de l'Aubrac was a welcome change of pace from the traditional French fare. We arrived around 7:00pm and were nearly the only guests inside--but by 7:30pm, the place was packed. Definitely a good sign. The steaks here lean toward an American style, which I appreciated. As you walk in, you're greeted by an impressive display of aged cuts. I opted for a dry-aged ribeye, and they actually bring out three different cuts to choose from--small to large. I went with the smallest and it was still more than enough. A sommelier stopped by the table and, while knowledgeable, he was a bit pushy. He initially recommended a $300 bottle of wine (which gave me a good laugh). I ended up going with a half bottle of one of their fancier suggestions, and it was solid. Now, here's the thing--seasoning is minimal. Like, barely there. The steak had a great char and was cooked well, but if you're someone who likes a good hit of salt or spice, you may want to ask for it. Still, this was easily the best steak I've had across Europe and the UK--quality meat that speaks for itself. My wife ordered the filet and found it a little too plain for her taste. A quick tip: in France, if you want medium rare, order medium, or your steak will likely come out quite rare. They also serve their steaks with a spicy mustard on the side, but I wasn't a fan. If you're in the area, especially after a long day of shopping, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

When i say I can't find the words, I seriously cannot find the words to describe how amazing this meal was. The BEST French onion soup I've ever had. And steaks unlike the flavor I've ever had. This will be a set stop whenever we return. The atmosphere is also top notch. I highly recommend a reservation however we did not have one and they made accommodations that I so appreciate. Service was impeccable.

Another great place to eat at in Paris, everything is made with so much attention to detail. Foie gras was amazing, creamy and delicious. Steak melting in your moth. Sommelier on staff, excellent wine pairing and excellent service. A must while in Paris.

La Maison was probably our favorite restaurant on this trip to Paris, but we would also recommend Le Soufflé and Au Pied de Cochon, too. All do various Menu items very well and are authentic in preparation and taste excellent. Here at La Maison we particularly liked their Soupe de L'oignon, Steak, Boeuf Bourguignon and Crème Brûlée, but found the Carpaccio to be a miss. Four and a Half Stars, expect to pay about €50 each.

    A sirloin

I came here as a place to eat since I had free time and it was relative average. The sirloin is a bit hard to cut and chew, and a large quantity of fat. The beef jerky was very good, however. I put it on the bread and it was good. As for deserts, I ordered the lava cake and it was incredible. The combination of vanilla and chocolate just tasted tasty. The servers were nice and offered us bread and drinks right away. Nice selection of wine and mocktails and the ice tea is really delicious. I would get the filet mignon solely for the softness. I came during summer and it is 37 Celsius. I expected heat, but it had air conditioning, which is a big plus. Overall, good place to go to, but not a pick of your looking for fancy or high-end unless you try the dry aged options.

    Picking out steak
    Maria E.

Very casual place which is fine but my steak was way over cooked and the chewiest steak I've ever had. It was a filet but it wasn't tender at all. The presentation of picking out your steak was cool but other than that, I don't recommend.

We came here for a midnight meal as it was close to our hotel on champs-elysees. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price of the steaks. We saw others with much higher price tags. the escargots were just ok, bit dry and chewy compared to other places. French onion soup was decent. Do not recommend the cheesy mashed potatoes - didn't taste or really have texture of mashed potato. Go for the solid quality steaks at good prices!

    Beef soup

Wonderful service and great food! Nice place to eat with varied menu. Had a cheese board which was delicious

I'm a big steak person and this place was pretty underwhelming - the quality of the "aged steak" was pretty bad (Didn't taste any different than regular steak and didn't get that aged fat taste). I've had way better and was pretty disappointed. The service was good but the food was mediocre. The prices were higher than other restaurants outside of Champs-Elysses, I would skip this restaurant unless you have no other options.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated.
