I'd suggest going to a different location or a different establishment overall if you want better customer service!! My sister and I place an online order and wanted to order more, when we shared this information to the staff we were welcomed with attitude instead of a kind one. Then when I saw the staff member looking at our order she wouldn't stop harassing us with questions like "YOU placed an order" (with a rude facial expression; don't know what she'd be questioning when we just made that statement), she then double checked the name on the order which I could understand for confirmation, however, after giving her the correct name she then proceeded to make us go over our entire order before she was happy ( I can understand you need to confirm the order but it just seemed they didn't believe us no matter what, even though they had visible proof!) On top of that unwelcoming experience, we ordered an extra large esquite and were charged an additional $3-$3.50 for the upgrade but the staff kept telling us they don't offer one. Instead of having good customer service and at least trying to figure out a solution they just said "I don't know how to give you a refund". I stepped in saying " okay so can we have a smaller esquite for the additional charge". The staff replied "we don't have a smaller cup". I repeated " so you will take our money but not provide additional product?!". They processed to make a smaller cup for us; then we received the item with no lid we asked for one they said they don't have one that fits. I tried the lid on the larger esquite and the lid fits both sizes, I truly believe they were just done helping us plus it was raining so that got all over my food So overall not only was the staff unwelcoming, willing to lie to the customer, and they are willing to steal our money without providing additional product until I mentioned something Just a very unpleasant experience when all we wanted was to give this business our money! read more

It was hard but I had to do it. There is male worker that work here. That needs to be taught customer service. Everyone else is great. But this sour apple thinks he can be rude. I go to many La Michoacana Ice cream places. And I have been here many times also. So I came in on a day they were moving a lot of those ice cream around. Most of them didn't have labels of what they were. And the ones that were labeled only half were correct. The guy started to get annoyed with me when I kept asking what flavors things were. Like if I knew them by heart. Which I don't. Then when I asked to taste a couple he told me that there was a 2 samples per customer. And I looked at him. And told him that I had never heard that. He told me that it's because it was busy. It's a ice cream shop. It better be busy. And after I got my ice cream. He them said well o can let you taste a couple more that the line is not bad. Really.!!!! Why am I going to get back in line and do that when I have my ice cream in my hands. I could not enjoy my ice cream like I usually do. I chose flavors I had chosen before. But I love to try new things. Since they have an abundant of flavors. The next time I went to the one in Placentia. Which is only 5 away from this one. And they have all of their flavors labeled. And they let me try as many as I wanted. Like everyone else has before. I feel bad that mainly this review is all bad when the other staff members are good. That's why I left it at a 3 star. The food was good. The younger and older lady had horrible attitude and customer service was awful. When we walked in another lady walked ahead of us while we waited to even be acknowledged and she ignored her. People like that should just stay at home. The ambiance was nice but no need to say why anybody stay for long. When it came to pay the older lady said we had to signal on the pad that we wanted our receipt and she lied and said the receipt wasn't able to be printed anymore since she began ringing up another client. I responded with "So your business doesn't keep record of credit purchases?" And she rolled her eyes and printed a blank receipt then a waited a moment and printed out receipt. Michiocana premium mis nalgas!!! My wife and I visited the establishment because it looked pretty even you pass by. We walk in it's empty and we are the only 2 people in there besides the people working. They were "cleaning" and it got to the point where I had to ask who do I need to talk to for assistance and she replied with I can help you. That was annoying. Please don't get the mangoneada from here. Never have I ever received this type of ice cream with ONLY the candy stick and ice cream scoops. I have gone to a few other stores and each one has at least served the mangoneada with little pieces of mango, the candy stick, and the ice cream scoops. I had been here before and I have been served the mango pieces. I had asked about this when she gave me the incomplete mangoneada. Furthermore, the decrease in cup size is absurd. The medium cup size that once used to be a small is charged for $7.99. Mind you, it used to be $5.99 with the topping that I was charged $2.50 for. The topping weren't even put on my ice cream, the worker told me she would put them on the side and I could put them on top. It is ridiculous to think that this once wonderful item used to be $5.99 and now if I want the same thing it is $10.49 plus tax. Don't go here, prices are ridiculous and you are PAYING MORE for LESS. I recommend going to the Michoacana Tradicional on Euclid. They don't charge you extra for toppings, and the cup sizes are larger. read more

Situated in the same shopping center as Stater Bros, it's hard to miss La Michoacana Premium from the parking lot as it's the brightest store in the strip mall. The space is pretty ginormous, but it has to be for all the great sweet and savory treats it offers. We came after dinner so dessert was the target, and it didn't disappoint. Originally, I thought they only served paletas and maybe some raspados, but it's so much more. Aside from those, there are lots of delicious sorbets, gelatos, ice creams, fruity concoctions and more. I went with the watermelon sorbet and it did not disappoint. Their sizes are a little weird as an extra small was actually a heaping scoop of sugary sweetness. I liked that the flavor tasted natural and not artificial and that they let you taste a variety of flavors before settling. I snuck some bites of Jaime's ice cream and it was great. It was smooth and not chunky and the vanilla cookie flavor he chose was on point. The tostilocos and cheesy hot Cheetos choices seemed to be popular with people coming in. I didn't get to try, but it sounds good - especially if you could care less about the calories. All and all, I enjoyed it and will be back to try some of the other options offered! read more
