Came last week got a scoop of ice cream with chamoy I wanted Tamarindo bites and lady said that only comes with the mangonadas I came again today and got a mangoneada and I was expecting the tamarindo bites since that's what the lady said last time and was told I need to get the large for the tamarindo bites so I was told I can get some but for an extra charge. Something about this place doesn't sit well with me. Went in on a Friday night for the Dubai chocolate strawberries. They were 15$ and only had Nutella chocolate and pistachio cream around the cup... nothing was drizzled on the strawberries. But that's not my grip. What doesn't make sense to me as I was checking out, the older lady checking us out tried to move to the screen where you pay, but zoom past the itemized charges. I noticed I was being charged EXTRA PER ITEM! When I cancelled the transaction and asked her to explain what the extra charges were, she said "they're just charged!" HUH?!?!?! What? So you're charging me extra but can't explain to me what the extra charges are for ? Not tax! Just extra charge PER ITEM. A younger girl came over and said oh they're just charges but if you pay with cash, it's cheaper! THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNS POSTED about extra charged if u pay by card ! I'm going to take it up with my bank because I'm pretty sure that's illegal. They didn't have cash / credit prices for anything on the menu. SO BUYER BEWARE!!! It's a surcharge on EVERY ITEM you buy. It was such a hot day, so I decided why not let's go and get some kind of frozen treat. I've been to their other locations and it never disappoints. Ordered the chamango and was able to choose three ice creams. So I chose the watermelon, mango, and guava. Now from what I know is that they make their ice creams fresh and all real ingredients and it shows with the ice creams. The guava still had the seeds in them! Which I don't mind, it was so refreshing and definitely worth leaving the house for. The only thing was the tables were all dirty. But it could've been that there was a rush and no time to clean the tables so I wouldn't knock them for that. read more

I had what their "rocky road" ice cream. I threw it away. Why? It had no chocolate flavor, it was blandand overly sweet with a massive amount of marshmallows to the point that it was ridiculous. The mrshmallows tasted awful too. There was hardly any nuts. This is definitely not Rocky road. It was inedible. I can't claim what the other flavors taste like but after my dismal experience of their rocky road I wouldn't buy any more ice cream there. read more

They followed my instructions perfectly, I asked them to wrap my items since I was ordering through post mates for safety measures and they did exactly that! They literally wrapped every item so I was really happy about that. I've cream was more then enough, it might not seem like it but it really is worth the price! I asked for a side of bananas and peanuts and they added it in for the ice cream. The ice cream was super creamy and soft! For the torta it was really cooked good throughout, tasted great for the price and can make you super full. I only ate half of the torta and it was more then enough. We ended up getting a Jamaica popsicle and mango and lime ice cream. All were so flavorful and delicious. The price was very good too. We live in the Sacramento area and normally for this will spend a good $15-20. For all three items it came out to less then $10. So I thought there were two (2) La Michoacana in BP, but found out they are under different management. La Michoacana Premium boasts of its name. The inside is a lot bigger, the lights brighter, and the rows and rows of ice cream and ice drop offerings seem endless. Like a kid in a candy store I was blown away with the different flavors to choose from. I ended up with my favorite the pistachio nut ice cream and the mangonada with chamoy. Threw in some cookies and cream, pineapple chamoy paletas and I was happy. Employees were nice and helpful. Don't get the fact that you have to pay a fee for use of card even when my purchases totaled more than $20. Should be free after $10 or $15, just my two cents. read more

Upon entering, the facility looked really clean and organized. Heads up! Check in on yelp for offers. The offer I got was a free agua fresca with any purchase. I opted to try their popsicles and the fruit agua fresca. I tried their chamango style(Mango con Chile) popsicle. A little bit of mango sweetness with some spicy kick. My kind of flavor. The fruit agua fresca was refreshing and full of fruit. Definitely no skimping on real fruit here with this drink. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick treat or dessert. If you're skeptical on the flavor the staff is happy to share with you on a few samples of the agua frescas and possibly the ice cream too. I saw this place on the new business page, but didn't think much of it until my cousin told me that they sold mexican ice cream. We came to this plaza to eat at the Himalyan Cafe place and decided to stop by here after lunch. I was overwhelmed when I saw how many different flavors they offered. It made me want to try it all and made it difficult for me to choose which one I wanted. They had the choice of a popsicle or ice cream. Only some flavors were available in both the popsicle form and the ice cream form. My eyes would wonder through all the flavors, but it kept coming down to the lime with chamoy. That was ultimately what I decided to go for. The middle was a large frozen chamoy flavor with a thinner lime flavor wrapped around it. At first bite, I thought the chamoy was a bit too much, but after that, I thought it was fine. I would say that the sticks are as thick as the one's you would see in the doctor's, so it might be harder to eat off the popsicle, or at least for me. Since there are multiple locations, I'lll probably visit another one closer to home, but I do see myself coming back and trying one of their many flavors. I possible might visit this location again though since this location is quite big and they have a check-in deal. read more
