She said no, there were no servers for that section. The host continued to take us toward the very back of the restaurant, ignoring our request and the obvious needs of a disabled guest. We requested to sit at a table halfway to the back, the hostess huffed, scurried back, slammed the menus and utensils on the table we requested and marched off. I really wonder how hard it could be to accommodate a guest and seat them at a table within short walking distance, but apparently it's too much for the host with the blond ponytail to manage. Next my parents are served stone cold coffee. The gracious waiter takes it away and returns with fresh brewed. Then we waited an unusual amount of time for our food (I didn't clock it, but it was 20-30 minutes). The food was good. The waiter was attentive. And the atmosphere pleasant. Overall it was a fair experience. I've been here before and I like the food I've had. But I feel the host should have been more accommodating to my mother's needs. We weren't asking for anything more than to have a table near the door so my mother didn't have to walk so far. And there's no need to be passive aggressive and slam the menus down in protest. I'd still recommend this restaurant but the service is only fair and the food takes a bit too long to come out.
