Right off Fremont, this place is definitely an eclectic and delicious gem. Everything we had was delicious. The esquites packed the creamy and spiciness I was looking for. The housemade chips were utter perfection in texture and taste that I wanted to just keep eating them. The salsa that accompanied it had a good spice level and texture as well. However, the star of the meal was the Poblano tacos. All the flavors and textures worked in perfect harmony. I can see why this is a signature dish. We also had the birria, which also had great flavor and a nice crunch with the cheese coated shell. The service was very nice and attentive without being all over you during your entire meal. Overall, a wonderful experience that I will definitely repeat at some point or come back and try their brunch.

This place was excellent! The server was very nice and the ambiance was inviting and nicely decorated. It is not too big of a restaurant but well worth a visit. I had shrimp al mojo and it was delicious! The shrimp was covered in a garlic sauce and they expertly recommended I add rice with it. The rice paired perfectly with the dish. I also tried a chicken quesadilla and it too was scrumptious. The old fashioned was potent and great as well.

I've been here a few times now and it's always a hit. Today we came in for Pink Brunch to celebrate a bride to be. The place looks so cute all in pink! Service was good as usual. We had watermelon cucumber refreshers, fish tacos, and enchiladas suizas. Everything was pretty good. We also tried the aguachile and the dish was great but not spicy at all like aguachile is usually prepared. To be honest, I preferred it that way anyway. It was tasty and my mouth wasn't on fire. Lol. I'm sure I will be back again!

This was my first time trying this spot. It was a very chill Sunday afternoon and I did not make a reservation. I walked in and sat at a table. The server was nice and accommodating. I ordered an appetizer of chips with guacamole and salsa. As well as a Caesar salad that is not pictured. The guacamole and the salad tasted so fresh! Then for an entrée, I ordered the enchiladas with mole. The mole was the right amount of sweet and a little spicy. It was dark in the restaurant and the lighting and decor had a modern authentic feeling! I would definitely come back with a bigger group of people.

At first when we walked in, it's actually very nice music is loud. The person is welcoming. We started with a queso fundido. It was really good, obviously super cheesy. The bottom had a lime taste to it. The peppers on top or tasty and the red sauce didn't really have a flavor in my opinion, but overall, it was really good. I like the cups for the water, but the water did taste like tapwater, which was a turn off. My nephew had the hibiscus Agua Fresca. He said it was sour but tasty might get it again, but I don't think so. He got the birria tacos. When they first came out, he took a bite and he burned his mouth cause they were oven hot, which is good but be careful. He said they were super flavorful. Very tasty. Would definitely order again. I got the chicken enchiladas no chicken after I started eating them. I realized I had a lot of cheese. They were definitely tasty though. Everything together was really good. The lettuce, radish pickled onions all really good. I would get that again but next time I will try something else. The service was really good as well. The guy was nice. He did get busy. He was the only server, but he did a good job for as many people as it was.

Met some friends for lunch at La Mona Rosa. Menu is smaller than expected for a Mexican restaurant. Prices are all over the place -- $4 for chips and salsa, but $16 for chips and guacamole, and most entrees between $16-24 but then also a la carte pricing for most sides like beans, rice, tortillas. The inside is pretty swanky, and fresh flowers on the table offer a nice touch. However, they have massive speakers hanging near the kitchen and the loud techno music with accompanied bass was a bit much for a weekday at noon. I tried the birria tacos with a side of rice. The tacos were delicious but very rich. The rice was over cooked, but edible when dipped in the consomé. We also ended up trying the overpriced guac and it was very good. Overall, solid 4 stars.

    Chilaquiles verde
    Victoria F.

Came for brunch and ordered the chilaquiles verde and bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were strong and served made sure they flowed steadily. But I was disappointed in the chilaquiles. The dish was a lot soupier than expected. There was entirely too much verde sauce compared to the other elements of the dish. Restaurant is clean.

Listen. Very. Carefully. I am not sure why this place hasn't been visited by every single food critic or why it hasn't been featured in all food magazines. This place is heaven. No words. Just absolutely the most amazing experience ever. You will be talking about this place for years. Would travel across the world to come to Vegas just to eat here. You have arrived at your taste buds destination. We don't even eat Mexican food. I am talking about just ordering fajitas when we are forced to go any place. This is beyond Mexican. This is a breed of it's own. The flavor profiles of every single thing out on your table are spectacular. Started with drinks. Spicy margarita, Pink Monkey, and two others. Kind of blacked out after this meal. Just get drinks. They were all well crafted cocktails with a great presentation. Ordered the Yellow Tuna Ceviche and the Queso Fundido. Do not leave this place without trying the queso. REREAD THAT AGAIN AND PINKY PROMISE. You will want to scrape every ounce of this deliciousness out of the cast iron dish. The pillow soft corn tortillas that you will use to shove this heavenly cheese in your mouth are obviously homemade. Just shocking how fresh and delicious both of these were. For meals... Shrimp al Mojo (2), Conchita Pilit, and a charred octopus special. The shrimp dishes come with a hard tortilla with some seasonings that were really nice on them. The pork came with more pillow soft corn tortillas and a spicy sauce. Grilled octopus was amazing. Get a side of rice and beans. The shrimp dish will cause you to question reality. Like can you lick your plate without causing a scene? Is it legal to serve something this freaking good? You will be looking for anything to sop up the sauce. Order this. You will question reality. Just no words for this one. Ordered the churros. Wowzer. Soft gems of sugar and cinnamon perfection with a chocolate mousse. The perfect amount to end this amazing journey of flavors. Comes with 5 and is just the perfect size for a pop of sweetness. These are obviously made by some magical creature. The service here is amazing. The staff is friendly and super attentive. You will not be waiting long for your food. You can tell that great attention and care is put into every single thing that comes out of this kitchen. It is an art. The vibe of the restaurant is just sensory overload as well. Adorable lighting, seating and overall atmosphere. The disco ball monkey is a great touch. There's outdoor tables available. Moody lighting and great arrangements for all different party sizes. We originally did a food tour here last year and it was just a tasting of all the things. That is what made us fans and we wanted to come back to try even more. There are times when you will ponder if flying to Vegas just for a meal is truly a sign of craziness. Dreamy. This is the La Mona Rosa effect. This is it. Do not pass go. Just get here. Anyone reading this with any connections really needs to do the world a favor and get this place visited by any and all who can share how fantastic of a place this is. Literally steps off of Freemont. This is a whole package place. They know what they're doing and they do it well. The talent and love shines through! We will be dreaming of this place. Can't stress enough of how much you need to get here and try all the things. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. It's is some sort of wizardry happening. We are lucky to benefit from this magic.

Loved coming here for Saturday Pink brunch ! The food, service and vibe was amazing. There was a DJ and she was so good ! It was a bit loud so my friend and I had to scream but I really loved my experience and would absolutely return. I had the drink "Kiss from a rose" and the Mollete. Most patrons were in fact in pink, and I loved it! The decor was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting--perfect for both a casual night out and a special occasion. The decorations were perfect for Instagram! It was hard to place an order because everything sounded delicious! A girl friend an I decided to split a few dishes! Everything fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The only thing was that the churros weren't fully cooked, but the delicious chocolate sauce made up for it. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything tasted thoughtfully prepared. If I'm being 100% honest, we did not like our server. We felt judged for asked for recommendations and he didn't do a good job of explaining what the dishes and drinks were going to be like. He kept rushing us and delivered our check mid meal without even asking if we wanted dessert. We were really put off by him. At one point, we asked him for a photo and he just walked away. We assumed he didn't hear, but he went to say hi to some of his friends and then returned 5 min later saying "do you still want me to take that photo?" We really had to keep reminding each other to not let him affect our moods. Besides that, everything else was great!

    Great bar!

This place is definitely a VIBE! A fun, trendy spot with excellent food & drink! Beautifully designed & decorated, this restaurant offers indoor & outdoor seating right around the corner from the hustle & bustle of Fremont Street. Tucked away on what seems like their own private street, La Mona Rosa stands out on its own. A welcoming outdoor courtyard & a hot pink neon monkey will greet you as you approach the restaurant. The hostesses here are always lovely & a joy to be greeted upon. Servers are super attentive, and bartenders are creative! KUDOS! We most recently had dinner here on a Friday night, with 7 pm reservations. As expected, the place was busy, so loud. (Be prepared for banging beats as you dine.) Food was excellent, I absolutely crave their Carne Asada with house made Russet Potato Chips. It's incredible! My date had Nopalitos (Mexican Cactus/Prickly Pear/Opuntia Ficus-Indica) & it was tasty, sweet and FANTASTIC! We inquired if it was possible to make items vegan, as we seem to have an influx of friends who are vegan & it's hard to find kitchens that will alter their dishes or menu to accommodate those guests. They do! I have some dietary requirements and from the well versed waiter to the kitchen, they made it work. We are very appreciative of the attentiveness this restaurant provides for each customer. We have eaten here a few times, and very much look forward to a return visit. Reservations are strongly suggested, as it's an incredibly popular spot, especially on Sundays where they have 'Pink Brunch' & a spectacular brunch menu. Check out La Mona Rosa if you're looking for a cool, fun, hip, DJ-filled, delicious dining experience!

This place is really cool. I liked the service and the food is great. They do put quite a bit of salt on the chips, but I think everything was good. I has a hard time finding this restaurant because Google was telling me to go into the alley. The entrance is not in the alley. You can park up the street where they do not charge for parking. It looks like they have patio dining, but I think I would wait til it's cooler outside to do that. We ordered the enchiladas and they were good. I think they have food that is as good as mi casa at silverton. I think I'll be coming here instead because it's pretty much around the corner from me. So, you guys may see me frequent your establishment.

This place was everything and more! Excellent service from the second we walked in! Normally places you see on TikTok are great for pics but this place had a vibe! Dj played great music the whole time we were there. The food was delicious down to the rice and beans. We got enchiladas suizas, chicken tinga tacos, and molleta and each one was scrumptious! We did order drinks and they were alright. The Agua Frescas were better!

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

I sometimes mosey into the 'D' Casino for some gambling and nitrates because the thought of…read moreblackjack and bacon makes me grunt so happily. Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

Bacon Nation was a must-stop on our Vegas trip--everything was absolutely delicious. The portions…read morewere huge, so big that half our group couldn't even finish their meals. It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Traveled from Austin, TX and Little Rock, AR with my cousin to experience Usher yesterday. Enjoying…read morenew places and discovering amazing vibes and delicious food is why I enjoy going to concerts out of town. My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
