This was the best pasta I've ever had in my life. We went as a large party after an event and we ordered off of the set menu. I got the fried mozzarella as my starter which was fine and my main was the SORRENTINO GRAN CARUSO Stuffed with mozzarella and cooked ham, gratinated with cream, cooked ham, mushrooms, poultry, and fresh tomato sauce. Holy god it was so good. I would travel back to Argentina just to eat this. The dessert was a few choices and I went for the flan which was very good. I'm told it's meant to be served with dulce de leche but this restaurant doesn't do that. It was still fine. This is definitely a fancy place and I'm glad we were gifted this meal because I really don't want to know how much it cost. read more

This is an amazing Italian restaurant in Puerto Madero! Either make reservations ahead of time or be patient enough to wait on a table. I've been to many great Italian restaurants in NYC, but this one in Buenos Aires is my favorite. You must start with their eggplant parm appetizer, mellanzane allá parmigiana, it's amazing, the best I have ever had. All their entrees are incredible as well. Puerto Modera seems like a very touristy area so we weren't sure what kind of food quality we were going to get. Thankfully overall it was good. The highlights were the Limonaida and the fried burratta were incredible. The Linonaida here was the best of our entire trip. It was foamy and icy and was not too sweet. It was obvious the buratta was made to order as it was gooey and delicious. Where they feel short was the mains. My tortellini was hard around the edges making it hard to chew. read more

I have never written a review before but these folks deserve a zero rating. walking along looking for something for dinner I happened to come in here. Was not sure exactly what I wanted so my waiter Federico helped me. I told him what I was in the mood for. a simple spaghetti He suggested spaghetti with sun dried tomatoes and garlic. I got exactly that. It was very good. Spaghetti was done al dente. I enjoyed the bred that he brought to the table but just know that if they bring bread you are going to pay for it. It's not like America where it's complimentary. Really nice, large restaurant on the water in the Puerto Madero barrio that has delicious Italian food. During my trip to BA, I wanted a nice meal while I was out one evening in the neighborhood and this restaurant was highly recommended by a bartender at one of the bars I ducked into for a bit prior to coming here. I knew it was good, as I had some prior research, so figured I'd have a nice meal. It was a Wednesday evening, but the restaurant was still extremely packed. They restaurant has a long hallway that stretches from the entrance, alongside the kitchen to the right and the entire dining area on the left. The seats to the far left are up against the windows that overlook the boardwalk and river that runs through Puerto Madero. The dining area is extremely large and was full of families, dates, and large social gatherings. Of course I had to get a Malbec and it was a very generous pour, which I was thankful for, and the wine itself was delicious. They give you a basket of bread and butter to start with. I ordered the spinach ravioli in cream sauce with mushrooms and it was pretty tasty. I noticed the food in BA isn't overly flavorful, but filling. I asked for black pepper, but they did not have any crushed red pepper. My waiter was extremely slow with me in the beginning, as other tables around me who were seated after, received their drinks and apps way before he even came to take any of my order. He noticed I was a little frustrated and definitely made up for his attentiveness throughout the rest of my meal, which was nice. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Buenos Aires. Monday-Friday there is a lunch special with a selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts/ espresso. Even month there is a new wine promotion. Embarrassed that I took my friends on their first visit to Argentina. I used to come here for years and years and not sure how their quality decreased this bad!! Not sure where to start but horrible service, worst bread basket I have ever tried - not their bread but from a panadería nearby they claimed- bland food, pricey and excessively huge portions which do not belong in a fine dining restaurant but in a low class bodegón. Súper avergonzada que lleve a mis amigos en su primer visita a la Argentina. Solía venir por años y no estoy segura como bajo tanto de calidad, es terrible. Ni se donde comenzar, pero mal servicio, pan duro y recalentado de panadería berreta, comida sin sabor, caro y las porciones tan grandes y tan ordinarias que parecían de un bodegón de barrio de muy baja categoría. Service is slow, very un attentive. Do yourself a favor, do not order the "Italian" food, it's mediocre at best.

So, we get seated, proceed to have to ask for a menu after waiting with no one in sight for about 6-7 minutes. Order some very easy dishes, gnocchi and linguini both alla bolegense. Both dishes had very little meat, the sauce tasted like original ragu from the US . Only saving grace was the bottle of wine (a nice Malbec from Mendoza winery). Service sucked 0 out of 5.. food was by far our worst meal in our 10 day stay in BA. I would never recommend this place to anyone.. read more

Was walking around looking for a place to eat. Went first to the Parolaccia del mare but it was closed and was sent to this place, as we get there the maître instead of opting to sit a table of 8 he prompts to very rudely say, "wait, sit there" and telling his coworker "I already told them to wait." That's just not cool, the restaurant missed the chance to serve 8 people. read more

I come here every so often, the menu hasn't changed a bit but I still love it. Been here with friends, on business, for birthday celebrations, and random occasions. Got to try the "gamberi milanese" appetiser (fried breaded shrimp with mozzarella sticks), and they have killer desserts as well! Holy wow this place blew my socks off! We came here for my grandmothers 80th birthday and had a reservation for about 15 people. As soon as we arrived the valet attended to us and we were shown to our table. They had balloons tied to a bottle of lemon cello as the center piece. After sitting down we were given a round of complimentary drinks. The waiters were extremely attentive making sure everyone received what they needed and the table was always satisfied. When I ordered I was unsure of which dish to order and the waiter gave me his suggestions and boy was I happy. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers, the shrimp plate was my favorite. The sauce that the shrimp are cooked in was spectacular. I ordered the spinach gnocchi which comes with a mushroom cream sauce and cooked ham. Everyone at the table was extremely happy with their food and the experience. The restaurant is decently sized and you don't fee cramped at all but do keep in mind that they cater to large parties especially birthdays(there was at least 8 on this night) so it does get a little noisy. We ordered three bottles of wine with our meal and they have a deal that for every bottle you drink in the restaurant you get to take one home with you.
