The mall itself is covered but has sections that are open to the elements including rain. It's a nice feature which keeps the air fresh, it doesn't have that plastic chemical smell of most malls. They even have a few areas with outdoor lounge chairs. Good variety of stores and they have an excellent food court with typical fast food and some nice looking table service restaurants. On the top floor they have a big movie theater playing French and American movies. There is also a cool art exhibit located in the mall and it appears that it is also used as a night club with DJ and bar.

Nevertheless you can find everything you want in a bunch of different shops and restaurants without losing time waiting in a queue. I prefer Confluence to Part-Dieu in term of ambiance and people. :)

La boutique MISTER MINIT (activité de cordonnerie) est à éviter absolument. Les vendeurs sont de très mauvaise foi. En effet, il y a une semaine j'ai déposé une paire de chaussure et on m'a donné un reçu. Mais, lorsque je veux récupérer cette paire de chaussure on me dit que ce reçu n'appartient pas au magasin. Et, le vendeur me montre le carnet ... Il me demande si je ne me trompe pas de magasins... je ne suis pas véhiculé... C'est le seul cordonnier sur mon trajet boulot-maison... Merci messieurs... un incompétence pareil....où je sais pas.. read more

Le centre commercial de la part dieu est impressionnant par sa taille, par sa fréquentation et par l'offre des magasins! c'est un grand mall à l'américaine avec toutes les enseignes qu'il vous faut pour faire vos courses. Je ne suis pas forcément fan de ces temples de la consommation mais il faut avouer que c'est bien pratique..de là à y passer l'après midi et y manger un morceau..pas trop mon truc.. vous y trouverez entre autres un carrefour et des galeires lafayette. read more

C'est le lieu ou il faut aller pour faire les magasins a lyon. on y retrouve toutes les grandes enseignes, des restaurants, cinémas. Le centre commerciale idéal. Depuis peu l'ouverture avec la tour oxygène apporte un peu plus d'espace et un peu de modernité car ce centre date un peu read more

Tous types de magasins! on a vraiment le choix! A déconseiller pendant la période des soldes (beaucoup trop de monde! temps d'attente très long, stress ressenti chez les vendeurs, donc aucun accueil chaleureux!) et parking et WC payants.. contrairement à confluence, dommage! read more

Both my wife and I got something. New shirt, from my/our favorite vacation spot - Sicily Italy. The quality is something I normally would not buy, but am hoping for the best. And for the price, it was inexpensive. And my wife got a bag with the current hottest trend - The Devil Wears Prada 2. Ambiance - Decent size location. Service - 1 star. An employee at 7:30pm would NOT let me into the fitting room to try on the shirt. Asked us to leave as they were closing at 8pm. No basic customer service here.... Price - Inexpensive. Sold, just hope what we bought are NOT "disposable." 5 stars for the merchandise. 1 star for lack of basic service. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

Quality/Quantity - My wife wanted more drinks for the hotel room and this was across the street…read morefrom Les Halles de Lyon where we had lunch. Easy in and out. Ambiance - Small location. Limited cold drink options. Today is our hottest day in France, 5 weeks now... Service - Self service, including check out. We had some difficulties with self service check out and the employee helped my wife out. Price - Did not even check, I am sure convenience prices. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.
