We started with the burrata appetizer which was creamy perfection. For our mains we had the Prime rib and the Lamb chops. Both were cooked how we liked. They were seasoned well and had excellent flavor. We had a delicious side of creamy whipped potatoes. The meat had an excessive amount of fat and gristle and it seemed that half of what we got was left behind on the plate. For dessert we split a tiramisu which wasn't tiramisu, instead it was marscapone with a Carmel sauce and a cinnamon crunch topping. It was good but not what we expected. We sat directly in front of the grill which was cool watching the grill master at work. Waitstaff were very nice. Overall, I've had better steaks and chops.

So happy that prime rib was on the menu, but when I ordered it, it came more of a rib eye which is typically my favorite. But I got teased with the "prime rib." Generous portions; see pictures. Cooked to order, but it was not cooked medium rare IMO. After a few rare bites, I asked for the chef to throw it back on the grill. It was still too rare when it came back, but by then, I was just too hungry. Lastly and most importantly, it was tough, like how can a rare steak be tough?!? I had the hardest time cutting it even with a steak knife. The rice with teriyaki sauce was good. I might try this at home next time. The veggies were okay. My wife got a chicken plate - Again, generous portions and cooked to perfection. Tender and juicy. My wife enjoyed her salad (very bitter) and veggies. She gave her meal 5 stars. Oh, and my wife had so many leftovers she will not need lunch tomorrow. Ambiance - Got a great table next to the chef. Then the heat from the oven was too much for my wife. I guess they noticed it and moved us a few tables back. Thank you. Service - Not sure if we got here too early (7pm), but our waitress was late coming to work. It took forever for the waitress to take our order. But she did come back several times to check on us. I had to ask for extra water, etc. Price - 54 Euros, $63US; reasonably priced for a steak house. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success.

Last night I ordered the beef and I asked for it to be cooked medium. This was probably my first mistake, I admit, but historically for my taste I have found that medium rare is usually a bit too bloody for me. Regardless, medium does not equal well done. When I received my plate the meat was completely well done, no signs of pink and hard and chewy. Multiple people at my table confirmed this and in not wanting to pay almost 40euro for a beef rock, I sent it back. A few minutes later, the owner came out and scolded me in French that I had no idea what I was talking about and that the chef had cooked it perfectly. She preceded to say other things in which I could not decipher and caused a whole scene for our table and the others around us. I just asked that she bring me a different menu item then...instead of the beef and left it at that. My other plate came out half plated and definitely not as nice as the other plates of the same order but by that point I just ate it. When it came time for our check, they had decided to charge me for both plates despite the fact that no one mentioned this to us. Again, the owner was very defensive and argumentative with us when we asked about our check, causing another very uncomfortable scene. My take home...is that she is a terrible representation of the rest of her restaurant and she seriously needs to take a lesson in customer service. If you come here, order, get what you get and don't complain or it will be a very uncomfortable event for everyone in the building.
