They're all priced at $6-8 euros and you get a large portion (plenty for one person, shareable for two if you're not super hungry). We tried the pesto pasta and it was so fresh and flavorful, plus we had a major cheese craving and they DELIVERED with a big pile of parmesan served on the side that you can mix in. The whole product range is the most fresh and tasty. Everyone can find here something for a carnivore or vegetarian. You order at pizzerman, then you go to the cashier to pay, wait a minute and you get a hot piece of pizza. Each piece costs 2.5 euros, for the hungry find yourself even half a meter. The crust and base is super thin And crunchy and the topping combos are basic but good (e.g. Pepperoni, eggplant, etc.) It's really only one of the few places open past midnight in a weekday so you'll definitely see some drunk people in here and I'm sure this pizza is even more amazing when drunk. There isn't much going on in the area and pulling out the Yelp app lured me into this place (after reading the glowing reviews). Considering it was almost midnight on a random weeknight they are quite busy with several patrons in line. I am not sure of the exact moment but somehow I struck up a conversation with a local Berliner. I asked "how's the pizza here?". He gave me a casual shrugged and said "It's okay. It's cheap and open all the time". Not exactly what I wanted to hear but I thought maybe his drunkenness has clouded his judgement one too many times. I proceeded to order the humble mushroom and cheese. The pizza almost looked sad; like a scene of a nation living under decades of repression, yearning for their ending to escape such dire circumstances. The pizza before me looks wilted and withered like flowers from last week tanning under the sun. It was crackling, dry and more miserable with every bite. Oh my god. La Pausa has amazing pizza pieces. One may be enough to get you full, two will (2.30 each), so cheap lunch or booze buffer food guaranteed. The pizzas are fresh and the choice is stunning. If you go there during lunch time, the pasta is well worth it. Easily the best Italian style (not American style) pizza I've had in Berlin. The crust is thin but not crispy, the sauce was good, good balance of tomato flavor with the spices. My goodness. I did not expect to find pizza this good in Berlin. But, as it turns out, most of the Italian places in Berlin are owned and operated by Italian fellas and ladies. This one is not to be missed, if you're in the mood for pizza. I didn't really know how much I was ordering when I ordered, but it was under 5 euros and I ate the equivalent of about half an american pizza. So good. Thin-style, cheese tastes really fresh; there was fresh basil and there were very good tomatoes as well. This is definitely going to be an unpopular opinion but TOURISTS and SALAD EATERS BEWARE I went out for a late dinner and ordered the mixed salad with chicken. I thought it was going to be a quick and easy meal since ordering a salad usually entails so. I was extremely wrong. After about 15 minutes of waiting I became a little suspicious as orders that had been placed after me were being fulfilled quite quickly. I went to ask the cashier about my order very politely and he immediately got defensive and explained that the chicken I had ordered on my salad was cooked in store and thus took longer to make. He then turned to one of the cooks and began speaking in german, handing him what seemed to be my ticket. I was slightly annoyed but I let it slide. ANOTHER 30 minutes later everyone in the restaurant had been served but me. So I asked the same cashier as he passed by serving another table when my order would be ready. Again he was very defensive and blamed it on me ordering chicken. 10 minutes later my order finally came. I do commend the food as it was very good, but the wait was DEFINITELY not worth it for a simple chicken salad. read more

Very good margarita pizza: crunchy/crispy crust, somewhat acidic/bitey tomato sauce, not too much mozzarella. Half a meter of pizza minimally fed 3 of us for less than 10 euros.
