Stomach bloated, inflammation, and the feeling of comfortlessness warranted my google search for a well overdue hydratherapy session. It had been three years since my last freedom movement and I was desperate for relief. Everything I looked at gave me acid indigestion, heartburn, reflux whatever you want to call it. This was the most amazing experience for me! I have had two surgeries - back to back with cervical and lumbar. Nothing has helped because of the medications I was taking. Wow! short, brief and to the point. I normally do not write reviews however my experience at La Paz Spa warrants one. I received my first colonic treatment on 12/29/2012. I researched other locations and found the reviews to be very helpful in my decision to go to La Paz Spa. This process is very "personal" and I was very pleased and appreciative of Debbie being understanding and kind in regards to easing my concern surrounding it. She went over the procedure and answered all my questions. Her credentials on top of being a registered nurse assured me that it was "legit", given the numerous locations one can choose from. The location is very sterile and up to par given the treatment one gets. Anyone in a high paced profession (like mine) and at times a stressful one too, can benefit from a colonic treatment. My health and state of mind is very important to me as I am sure it is to most people. Debbie is down to earth, friendly, very open and honest. I couldn't last a whole hour, because your body gets exhausted having Niagra Falls up your butt. Her assistant also called me later to ask if I was okay, which was really nice of her to check up on me. Aftereffects: I thought I was done, but after an hour, when I was home, I took the weirdest, blackest dumpiest dump that rose above the toilet water. I really think that was old crap that came out. Oh my goodness. I could not recommend this place enough!! I hadn't had a colonic in about 15 years or so when a friend told me about this place. I've have GI issues my entire life and am at a point where the GI doc is telling me about prescription medications! Anyway, I wanted a clean out so thought I'd go ahead and try a colonic again as my lifestyle has become healthy in the last 15 years. Anyway, I bought a series of 3 and although I just finished my third on Saturday I'm already wanting to come back this week! You MUST purchase three! I highly recommend that you do as it was so satisfying (yet horrifying too lol) to see the results of being cleaned out! And if you suffer from chronic GI tract issues then 3 will help wake up your colon or at minimum get out some blockages! I believe I'll come monthly to do a series as I feel so much better having done 3 sessions (Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday). Debbie was very informative and totally comfortable to be a "coach" during the process. Everything is private and privacy is highly respected. After a week of research. This is the place that close to me . I make appointment and next day I stop by the place look good not that Luxury well done. Very friendly 2 lady work there. Let go inside the action room there was a bed like the one I saw . In the research . ok one of the girls who brings me to the room recommended me to the platic tube that was gota going my ass and pumped the water in until it full in my colon then . I go to let it out like pooping and keep doing that again and again for an hour . And on the Side there are clearl tube you can see what had come out from you stomach. Well . Maybe I am not had so much bad stuff don't see any much poop come out . She ask me to come back again next couple day . And tell me maybe my poop dry well need couple time . Ive been meaning to write this review for some time now. This place is amazing, and Debbie is out of this world. You will leave here with a new friend for sure. Ive had several of these done before and this is the first time Ive had someone make sure the process was done correctly, coaching you through it, insuring that the tube is 100% in correctly, massages your belly if you are not releasing properly, telling how and when to release- insuring a natural release.
