Good but not great. I felt like mixing up breakfast a little bit and ordering a crepe. I think in my mind the crepe might be better than the real thing so I was a little bit let down. When I go to France I will find out for sure. In the meantime though I would be more than happy to come here for a snack but not for breakfast as a crepe is not enough for the most important meal of the day. For what I have herd of French people, the service here was surprisingly amazing, very attentive and very happy to be working, maybe because they get to eat crepes whenever they like.

I really, really wanted to like this place. I've been looking for good galette and crepe restaurants wherever I go in the world and I usually always give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll be authentic. The waitress here was French (good sign, I thought!), but unfortunately the food was not. The galette skin was wayyy too thick and the Emmanuel cheese, which usually acts as the adhesive agent between the skin and ingredients inside, didn't seem to stick to the galette (?). I could've picked apart the ingredients from the skin and eaten it separately. So, food: 2/5. But I would give +0.5 for the service and location.

    Croque Madame. Yum.

Fantastic little place! Super French and in a lovely spot on Hardware lane. Also next door to a macaron store- so you can treat yourself after eating a giant crispy Galette with egg, ham and cheese or a buttery croque Madame. Even better, have one of their sweet crepes- the apple and caramel one is fantastic!

With a tagline like "Arrogantly French" written on their window for the whole world to see, it's obvious that these people aren't French, because the French don't have a sense of humour. Kidding, kidding! I only dared to say that because the guys at Le Triskel can take a joke. They actually are French, through and through, and the staff have the accent to prove it. Also, not one of them could be considered arrogant, far from it. The fact that they're willing to poke fun at themselves makes this place all the more attractive. Inside you'll see a chalkboard that teaches you how to order in French, which I think is rather cute. The crepes and galettes are beautifully thin and light, just the way I like them. I adore their Le Bol de Café au Lait, which you guessed it, is a creamy coffee in a bowl.

Had the caramelised apple and salted caramel crepes. Best!
