Lodi's legendary taco truck. Come on, come on. Take it, take another little picosita my heart now baby! Seriously. These tacos are award winning for a reason. We can count on it being at the same place at the same time each time we roll into Lodi for family togetherness or wine tasting. I recommend the tacos or taco supreme, with al pastor and especially with asada. This is the best asada I've ever had, and this is my favorite taco truck ever. Stop by next time you're around. If there's a homeless guy flipping off the intersection and talking to the sky, don't worry. He's mostly harmless and someone will eventually call the cops on him. The tacos are worth it. $2 a pop for tacos and $1 for can sodas. Do it. read more

Amazing al pastor tacos! Very flavorful and the best part are their reasonable prices. Their meats are truly one of the top taco meats I have tried. However, I went to pick up food around 10:15 tonight and came home to bit of a surprise. There was a hair in my burrito. Accidents happen I'm sure of yet. For that I will be returning but wanted to let you guys know as well as this business about the minor hair flaw. read more

Best tacos around, hands down. I frequently drive out of my way 20 or 30 mins to get these bad boys. Carne Asada, carnitas, pollo, etc... it's all delicious! My first review on yelp. No attention to detail. I constantly ask for no onion and yet when I get home to eat it's covered in onion. I ask multiple times for them to not put onion and you tell me there will be no onion. Maybe if the girls in the truck talked less and worried more about the customer you wouldn't be getting this review. I will not be recommending you. read more

Ordered 2 regular burritos after a day of paddling at Lodi Lake and we're so glad we did. This hit the spot and was only $12 total. I had the Al Pastor burrito and my husband had the Carne Asada burrito. They gave us plenty of jalapeños and limes for added flavor. We could have eaten it all but decided to not stuff ourselves and saved the last 1/3 for later. We'll definitely come back! read more

Let me start by I have been coming to this truck for YEARS. The female workers today who worked on Dec 11 at 6pm were discusting. I saw them drop food on the counter unwrapped, laugh than she picked it up, wrapped it and handed it to me. Gross. I threw it away and I will not be back. read more

They are not kidding around with their nachos! I ordered a small Carne Asada and the overload of toppings and cheese were amazing! The chips were fresh and there were at least two different kinds of cheese in this not so small mound of Nachos. The meat is flavorful and bountiful. Was looking for a good burrito... Local residents told me to try a taco truck... One located on Church and Turner... I thought a little and said, Oh what the heck? When I drove up there was a HUGE line, which is a good sign!!!!! Ordered a super carne Asada buritto... It was HUGE!!!! I was blown away at how delicious it really was. This is the BEST taco truck. It came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. I tried the asada, al pastor and pollo tacos and they were all excellent. I especially liked the carne asada. I wish they had a table or area to eat them there. Will be a regular stop for lunch and dinner. read more

Seriously, the BEST taco truck in town! I have tried many and not one compares to La Picosita. I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The prices have gone up over the years but that's inflation for you. I usually order their asada. Try it in a taco, a burrito, or tostada and I'm in. Their tacos are double wrapped in corn tortillas, filled with meat, onion, cilantro, and salsa. Perfection. You can get the burrito regular or supreme... my vote is supreme! All the goodness of the regular plus sour cream and cheese. They have carnitas on the weekends for a slight upcharge. I've had it twice and both times thought it was a little dry. Good flavor but dry, lime and salsa help. Limes and jalapenos are available upon request so don't forget to ask! La Picosita is an all-time favorite of mine! read more

Al Pastore tacos supreme and the tamarindo soft drink...I'm not a real fan of corn tortillas, but this place is different. Tacos are spicy and the supreme helps with the soothes the spiciness. read more

I did not have a good experience at this taco truck, sadly. I feel bad writing this review.... But this is what Yelp is for. So I'll make this short. The girl's working the front were cold and unfriendly. I left the girl a $5 tip. No smile, no thank you, just there like a robot. Salsa was barley noticeable with hardly any flavor. The burrito also had pico de gallo , my husband can't stand pico in his burrito. This is not common in any taco trucks I go to , so I didn't think to ask. I also did not see it posted. I've been here a few times and honestly, the asada has been dry and the customer service from the young girls taking orders has been unfriendly and apathetic at best. There is one taco truck nearby that is way better but so there is no confusion with me being a competitor or anything like that, I won't mention their name. I will say they do serve birria! So 2 stars off for dry asada and lack of customer service. 1 extra star off because they are getting more and more expensive! $6 for a Taco Truck burrito?!? I know they won the local taco truck competition about 4 years in a row but my goodness. I honestly don't see how that could happen. I really hope to taste some award winning food from here but they don't serve it. Their food is okay hut definitely not award winning. I guess the award is relative to the judges. I don't see why this place gets so many good ratings. Today I ordered 2 asada, 2 tripas and 1 al pastor tacos and let me just start with saying STAY AWAY FROM THE AL PASTOR! I threw that one away immediately after one bite. The tripa ones were over cooked while the asada ones were just ok. Nothing special about this place but I must say you get a A LOT OF for the price you pay. Worth if you like this place. Their salsa needs some help as it had no flavor. I can appreciate that this is the #1 taco truck in Lodi... but, they are moving pretty fast to truly pay attention to everyone's order. I continue to frequent this establishment and more than half of my orders are prepared incorrectly and not to my specifications. I lived in San Diego for 8 years and I have been around a ton of Mexican food during my stay there - when I came home my sister brought me to this taco truck! We ordered 3 carne asada and 1 steak taco! Very very surprised at how cheap and how big it was!!! The meat was super tasty and I loved how they didn't skimp on the meat! Would love to come back to try the burrito and nachos! Btw, in San Diego, carne asada FRIES are very very popular and amazing! Toppings are the same as the nacho toppings + meat! Can it get better. This place has made me a believer. At first it seemed like any normal taco truck......until that line of cars....... and people and you notice its for this truck. But dont let that stop you they are firing orders off faster than a dodge hellcat. I think I stayed a total of 180 seconds before I was on my way with burrito in hand. 5 stars guys. They only accept cash and that's really bad because as a business you should get with the times and get square space or whatever.
