Wanted a change from tapas, so found La Piemontesa through Yelp. My dad still says this was his favorite meal overall in Spain. We got there by 8 PM, opening time, except it wasn't open! The manager opened up a little bit after and we got to sit and wait although the cook and waiter weren't there yet! My family is definitely not used to the late eating times, but luckily we were in no rush. Had a window view, and we ordered three items, salad, pasta, and pizza. Everything was so good from beginning to end, and knowing most of it was all handmade was a huge plus! Very memorable meal indeed, and a good break from salty tapas.

Food was awesome. I had Montera (risotto with veal ) and my husband ate Nero di Sepia (which is a squid risotto). Both of them delicious and served pretty fast. For dessert I had Tiramisu (mmmmmm delicious) and our server was very nice I strongly recommend it.

    Cool interior

This is authentic Italian! We got a recommendation from our tour guide Manuel (Italian) speaking English giving a tour of local Sevilla... Food is delicious and pizza is amazing with the best thin crust ever (brick oven). I just wish I had room for dessert because they looked sooo good...next time for sure! My husband and I remarked that this is better Italian than what we had in Italy.

La Piemontesa was something the heck else. Came with a big group of friends and had a time and a half which is honestly the only reason this place is getting more than one star. It's really very questionable whether or not the chefs have ever tasted pizza. We split a tartufa pizza that came with zero sauce, bacon that was in fact actually just ham, and cold mushrooms! Nobody wants a cold flacid shroom! Disliked. And the crust! Was like biting into a hollow dust bowl! Take caution before you choose this place for pizza- that goes for really any pizza place in Sevilla.

I originally planned to come here for the pizza. Traveling to Spain restaurants with kids who refuse to eat tapas gets difficult. Decided to go for the 1kg Tbone to share with the wife instead. The steak was cooked perfectly, tasted fantastic and compared very closely to some of the top steakhouses in Toronto Canada. Will definitely come back. Oh... And the kids enjoyed their pizza as well.

This place makes fantastic gourmet pizzas. We had 2 small pizzas for my wife and I and we were satisfied. We are not big eaters. The crust is very thin and very delicious!

    Great sangria.

Really friendly staff. They accommodated some of my friends and customized a pasta to be vegetarian. Myself had the Veal and it was amazing. Definitely stopping by here again when I can do.

Stopping in to Sevilla after a week in Italy, I can confidently say this food is up there with the best. Don't skip one of the salads too

If you want an authentic Italian pizza, try that one. Also, make sure you have a drink at the EME hotel afterwards (same building). They have a rooftop bar with one of the best skylines of Sevilla.

The menu outside and the inner ambiance (and the fact that the place was mostly empty, so we could easily get a table) called to us, so we decided to check this place out. Let it be known that a mostly empty restaurant does not mean the food will be so-so! My husband and I agreed that this place has the BEST pizza we've had anywhere! It's light, flavorful, thin and crispy, and just down-right delicious! Ostia Antica has a menu that has English descriptions, making it foreigner-friendly if you don't speak or read Spanish, and a ton of vegetarian and allergy friendly options (they have allergies listed out next to each dish on the menu). I ordered the pizza vegetal (vegetable pizza), which was vegetarian and awesome (with or without the chili oil- which I would recommend if you want to add heat/spice to your food) and my husband (not vegetarian) got the pizza iberica (recommended to him by our waitress). He said his pizza was super flavorful and amazing. The ambiance is quiet (probably because there were only a few other couples there) and cool. They also played a good music selection that added to the "chill" vibe. Finally, the waitstaff was amazing. They were really attentive, switched to English when they noticed us struggling with our Spanish, and were so nice (and funny!). We'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend this place!

We would certainly return. We ordered a ton: - Ravioli (good!) - Spaghetti Carbonara (I loved it; family didn't) - Margarita Pizza (crust wasn't done enough) - Salmon a la Plancha con Verduras (incredible!!) - Torte de Chocolate (very good) As mentioned, I had read other Yelp reviews saying the bottom of the pizza crust wasn't done well enough but I thought the reviewer may have been too particular so I ordered the margarita (so it wouldn't have a lot of watery vegetables or anything), and I completely agree- the crust definitely wasn't done enough for our liking. I'd never order pizza again here. The salmon was one of the best I've ever had - in my life. And the pastas were very good. We loved the wine too!!
