What a great lunch on a very warm Saturday. The cool quiet interior was a relief from the Semana Santa crowds and noise. We started with beer and water to rehydrate. White wine with the food. We started with a lovely salad which we split. And followed that with fresh pasta with truffles and setas (mushrooms). Not too heavy since we were biking back to the hotel. Wanted a change from tapas, so found La Piemontesa through Yelp. My dad still says this was his favorite meal overall in Spain. We got there by 8 PM, opening time, except it wasn't open! The manager opened up a little bit after and we got to sit and wait although the cook and waiter weren't there yet! My family is definitely not used to the late eating times, but luckily we were in no rush. Had a window view, and we ordered three items, salad, pasta, and pizza. Everything was so good from beginning to end, and knowing most of it was all handmade was a huge plus! Very memorable meal indeed, and a good break from salty tapas. read more

Stopping in to Sevilla after a week in Italy, I can confidently say this food is up there with the best. Don't skip one of the salads too

We made reservations for our first night in Sevilla because of the Yelp reviews and we wanted a change after eating Spanish food for several days. The octopus that my daughter ate was too thick and chewy, barely edible. My tagliatelle (could tell it was home made pasta which was good) needed more sauce, and a better one. The sauce tasted like jarred sauce but worse as it was bland. My husband's pepperoni pizza was okay. There was hardly anyone there, no wonder. read more

Food was decent. waitress was very nice. They wouldnt accommodate special orders, such as a salad with no meat. We had a roach that crawled on our table, I killed it with the pizza cutter,. We let the staff know, and they apologized, and they asked if we wanted to move to another table, but that was about it. I think my daughter was traumatized by the roach. read more

Food was awesome. I had Montera (risotto with veal ) and my husband ate Nero di Sepia (which is a squid risotto). Both of them delicious and served pretty fast. For dessert I had Tiramisu (mmmmmm delicious) and our server was very nice I strongly recommend it. read more

This is authentic Italian! We got a recommendation from our tour guide Manuel (Italian) speaking English giving a tour of local Sevilla... Food is delicious and pizza is amazing with the best thin crust ever (brick oven). I just wish I had room for dessert because they looked sooo good...next time for sure! La Piemontesa was something the heck else. Came with a big group of friends and had a time and a half which is honestly the only reason this place is getting more than one star. It's really very questionable whether or not the chefs have ever tasted pizza. We split a tartufa pizza that came with zero sauce, bacon that was in fact actually just ham, and cold mushrooms! Nobody wants a cold flacid shroom! Disliked. And the crust! Was like biting into a hollow dust bowl! I originally planned to come here for the pizza. Traveling to Spain restaurants with kids who refuse to eat tapas gets difficult. Decided to go for the 1kg Tbone to share with the wife instead. The steak was cooked perfectly, tasted fantastic and compared very closely to some of the top steakhouses in Toronto Canada. Will definitely come back. Oh... We were looking for a place to have light food, i.e. avoid tapas, so of course one comes to italian pizzas ;-) (indeed much lighter ;-)) A bit of roaming on internet, and we settle for this place. Quick efficient service with a bit of English spoken. The pizzas were with a thin crust and simply excellent! Nothing more to add. A nice little rioja with this, a dessert, and the stomach is happily full. Location is good in town. read more

Another excellent place. Bit of of a hidden gem since it is offset from the commercial plaza and no signs to advertise it. Would like to eat here again if we return to Sevilla. Elianna enjoyed spaghetti with plain tomato sauce, the first meal in a while she has eaten well. She also enjoyed Jason's five cheese pizza without cheese number five (gorgonzola). One of the most delicious restaurants I've ever been to! Thank god they speak English as well. We started with a plate of mixed cheese and bread sticks it was really yummy! Then the pepperoni pizza was above limits, with the thin but delicious layer it was amazing. Sea food spaghetti was astonishing. We didn't actually see any wood burning in their self-proclaimed wood burning pizza oven. We did see them switch off the gas burner. Nevertheless, pizza was an ultra thin crispy and airy she'll barely supporting the cheese, shrooms, shrimp and chunks of canned tuna to delicious effect. One word for this restaurant: amazing. I chose this cozy little Italian restaurant for my birthday dinner this evening and it did not disappoint. We started out with two liters of sangria, because, you know, it was a party! It was delicious, although a bit overpriced--but nonetheless delicious to splurge on. Then we got to ordering our own meals. You get the menu and it is huge! So many options! I chose the truffle and wild mushroom risotto, it was fantastic. Very rich but just perfect as a meal in itself. I got the individual portion. That is more than enough for one person! If you get the sharing portion it comes out in a pan, and it is daunting to say the least. You could probably share it with 3+ people! One friend got the wild mushroom and Parmesan risotto which was equally delicious. There was a pizza and some type of calzone/ stuffed pizza thing thrown in and they were both amazing! I also tried a pesto ravioli that was good, but missing some cheese stuffed in the middle--a little disappointing, but the pesto was on point. Finally! A friend got some type of chicken tortellini in a cheese and bacon sauce and it was PHENOMENAL. However, it was very rich. If you get this dish: share it with the table! No one human should have to eat it all because you'll ruin yourself for tortellini forever. To end my lengthy review, we got dessert, which obviously also didn't disappoint! I got the mousse de tres chocolates (the small portion) and it was quite tasty and semi-light for dessert! My friends got the secret chocolate delight (something along those lines, I was in a food coma by then) and it looked fantastic! If you are thinking of Italian food, this was truly the best that I have had in Sevilla! read more

Omg! What a place... loved it. I couldn't have found a better place, thanks to yelp reviews. Other reviews saying that they want to come back to Sevilla to eat at this place again, was a tie breaker. And I am glad we tried it out. Not sure why this place does not have many comment. We were tired of having tapas for lunch & dinner, especially kids wanting to have some pizza. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Service was excellent with good food recommendations. Pizza was paper thin with wealth of flavors. Each & every thing that we ordered was amazing.
