Nice service. But food is bland and average at best. All the people who love this place must never had the good fortune to eat truly delicious middle eastern food. Not surprising in our efforts to enjoy ethnic food in the suburbs of detroit. Just makes me sad when mediocre is all most reviewers seem to know. Food is great! Kibbe ney is great along with the hummus and hummus is great. Service is horrid! Asked for water 3x and finally got it from the bus boy. Waiter was non existent. Food is great but service was embarrassing. I won't be bringing guests back he unless it's for to go orders. read more

I've enjoyed La Pita for many years and it continues to deliver. While the dining experience is outstanding - great service, cool atmosphere and incredible food - yesterday I discovered that they do one heck of a job at catering, too! We had a party of 20 people and we had something for EVERYONE! At first people wondered why I went all the way to Dearborn for food when the party was in Beverly Hills... But once people started eating - they figured it out. The hummus and garlic sauce are unrivaled, salads were very fresh, vegetarian options were plentiful and all the kabobs and lemon chicken were on point. Best of all, the catering was cheap! This place was great. Spicy garlic is really good. Falafel was solid. Our waitress seemed like she had better things to do than serve us, but maybe she just didn't want to be working on a Sunday afternoon. If definitely go back though I'd probably hope for a different waitress. read more

I haven't been to La pita in a very long time. The reason I haven't been is because my past experiences wasn't the best. Although tonight was different. Everything was very clean. I loved how the drapes above the tables were gracefully pinned to the sides, and all the holiday decorations were flawlessly coordinated. The food was scrumptious; if you haven't tried their garlic -you're missing out! What made me think, "ok I have to write a good review about this restaurant," was our server Kody. Kody was there when we needed him and had all the right responses. He made sure our drinks were never empty, and to pick up all our dirty plates. Overall I had a great experience! Whenever we have visitors, we always take them to LaPita. We've never had anything we didn't like. The atmosphere is nice and inviting and the prices reasonable. They have great hummus and fresh pita bread. I think that, since it's Dearborn, there are probably a few middle-eastern places that are slightly more authentic and perhaps cheaper, but we've been so satisfied with LaPita that we haven't bothered to go looking. read more

The food is worth the money. So good. I'm from out of state and come back each time. I had my daughter, and she had the chicken tenders, good portion and she was said it was great. I also liked that they had free WiFi. EXTRA plus. As I put on Netflix and she was nice and quite while we were able to talk. TOTALY RECOMMEND IT. So worth it. read more

La Pita is one of my favorite places but I'm hesitant to give them a better "star" rating for a few reasons. The food has been hit or miss of late. We do get carry out more often than dining in and it's rather annoying that you have to pay for the hot bread on a carry out. I don't normally have to pay because the one manager knows me, but if he's not there I pony up just like everyone else. The portion sizes have also been on the light side too. Now on to the good stuff. We have used their catering service for parties and it is always the first thing to be devoured and everyone raves about it. Their hummus is the best! Smooth and not lumpy. Awesome stuff. I crave the garlic sauce. Simply amazing. Vegetarian Delite sandwich...warm oregano/sesame bread wrapped around huge chunks of feta. Yum. Here's a little tip...we get the Shawarma Grill for two. We substitute another portion of chicken for the beef (which we don't care for any where) and you also get 2 salad portions, 2 rice portions, hummus and baba ganoush. You can easily feed 3 people off this meal and save a few $$'s along the way. We will continue to visit La Pita and thank our lucky stars it's near by. read more

Great restaurant. I love the decoration and the atmosphere. The food is great especially the apetizers such as Taboleh, Fatoosh, Hummus and best of all the freshly baked small pita bread. I came from Chicago and someone from Detroit area recommeded this restaurant and I am glad they did. It is an authentic Lebanese restaurant. I tried the Chicken Tawook which was good. I haven't tried the other meats but I would assume it is good from the quality of everything else they have on the menu. I will definitely visit this restaurnat again on my next trip to Dearborn, MI. read more

La Pita is always a favorite stop when looking for fantastic Mediterranean cuisine in a beautiful setting. The service is always great and the staff are friendly and on point. I eat here at least 2 - 3 times a week and always have an enjoyable experience. I am happy to send friends, catering clients, and events to La Pita as their prices are reasonable and their service and food impeccable. I always enjoy the ambience and the comfortable feeling you get when being in a restaurant with a cozy, family environment. The homemade baked pita bread is delicious and the main dishes tantalizing...everything on the menu is fabulous...my favorite is the Almond Rice Salad with Boneless Chicken breast or the Mushroom Chicken Sautee...if you are in the mood for a sandwich, the Spicy CHicken Manushee is heaven and certainly hits the spot... The raw juices and smoothies are always fresh and the dining area is always bustling with happy customers... I make every effort to go to Lapita and am pleased with the great experiences I have had. I am picky when it comes to where I eat and Lapita is clean, beautifully decorated, and always a perfect choice... La Pita is one of my favorite Middle Eastern dining establishments in Metro Detroit. I've ordered lamb, beef, and fish here before; and it's always been incredible! The food is cooked to perfection, and is seasoned impeccably. It is also very beautiful inside. The seating is comfortable and intimate. As far as service goes, it is always 5 star. I went to LaPita with a group of 8 people at 4:30p.m. on a Wednesday. They seated us in a back room that had a bar and smelled like cigarette/hookah, it was horrible. I'm allergic to smoke and my nose plugged up as soon we walked up to the glass door that separated the two sides. I ended up leaving but the others stayed. They said the food was good but the service was bad, the waitress didn't check on them, probably because they were the only people in that back room. read more

Pros: Outstanding service, quality food, huge portions, fair prices, full bar and clean restrooms. Cons: The place is looking dated and could use a re-modeling. Took the Hot Blond Wife here on Nov. 2nd and we had a very good time. But be forewarned: the food portions are enormous. So much, in fact, that we asked for carry-out containers the second we laid eyes on our entrees. Service is always top-notch here but again, this used to be 5 Stars for me and I have demoted it to 4 Stars because the interior of the place is showing its age. read more

We ordered the Super Falafel sandwiches. They were fairly priced and quite delicious. $5 for a large sandwich/wrap. However, our service here was horrible!! Food aplenty. Two of us with appetizer of hummus and two dinner entrée that included Greek salad. We are big eaters but we left with enough food to feed 2 or 3 more people.
