Nigel and his crew do a fabulous job and I always feel welcome, from the moment my G&T hits the table (on my first visit Nigel popped out and bought the Tanqueray), to getting the steak out of the fridge as soon as I arrive so it is perfect when they cook it. Our biggest indicator that they care was on the second visit, five months after the first. They not only remembered what I had but my wife too. The food is always of a high standard and there is something for all tastes. The staff are extremely friendly and will got the extra mile to make you happy. I once had a waiter walk over to a supermarket to by a specific bread for me!! The service was prompt and very friendly. We opted for a four large pizza pack, with an accompanying side pizza and two drinks. Saved about $5 going for this option. The pizzas themselves were a mixed bag. I thoroughly enjoyed the Hawaiian, with a nice and yummy combination of fresh ingredients. The Calabrese had a good mix of toppings, however it lacked any real kick, which was disappointing as it was labelled as a 'hot and spicy' option. The parmesan and mozzarella side pizza was a nice cheesy addition and palate cleanser. The meat lovers was decent, though the toppings weren't of the best quality and this was clear in the taste. The pepperoni however was awful (perhaps one of the worst I've ever had). It was bland, overly cheesy and entirely lacking. It would perhaps be improved by a smaller, more flavourful sausage that isn't drowned out by the taste of cheese. Overall Maloneys provided a decent value meal but fairly basic pizzas that can and will almost certainly be topped.

The fried gnocchi was deep-fried in batter, the veal was reasonably tender but not especially so and the accompanying vegetables unremarkable. There was no sign at all of beets, glazed or otherwise. The plate was far too rich as a whole with no acid to cut through it. The lasagne was pleasant, but just a reasonable lasagne, the price again simply not reflecting the quality of the food. The profiterole dessert was the saving grace. They were delicious and completely worth their $12 price tag. The wait staff were pleasant and courteous, and the restaurant interior was inviting. In all, a reasonable but unremarkable restaurant that could do with a little perspective when it comes to price.
