The Brandlards consistently offer classic dishes, based on locally-sourced ingredients. The service is great, the atmosphere is relaxed, informal and friendly, and the prices are moderate. We enjoyed the Terrine de Volaille avec Noisettes (Chicken liver terrine with hazlenuts), the Salade Morvandaise (assorted greens with sliced ham and Comte cheese), the Bavette au Sauce Marchand du Vin (hanger steak from Charolais beef with red wine and shallots) , the generous cheese plate and the Creme Brulee.
