The food took forever to get to us but it was worth the wait. Amazing meal--I would have given five stars had it not been for the horrible wait. My advice is to go here on a weekday rather than weekend. Finally, we had finished our meal and asked for the check. Another table right next to us asked for the check after us and received it promptly after. After 20 minutes of waiting, I got up to ask about the bill. 15 minutes later, the bill arrived. 10 minutes go by and no one comes to collect our cards. Exasperated, we leave enough cash to pay for the meal and finally get out of the restaurant. We left at midnight but had it been our way we would have been out of there by 11 or earlier. Come for the food, not the service.

It was our waiter's first day and he was so cute, trying to make sure he answered all of our questions correctly and going back to the kitchen when he wasn't sure. We started off with bread and spiced olive oil, their olive oil was DELICIOUS. Spicy, but still had the olive oil flavor. Their regular olive oil was also delicious mixed with whatever pepper they use, it had more of a spice than most peppers you taste in restaurants. We got a cheese plate that was good, some gyoza dumplings (half veggie and half pork) which were good, the sauce was great. We also took advantage of their Sunday night special: you get a chicken and fries for €19. The chicken was probably my least favorite thing, but just because it was basic chicken and a little dry. The fries however, were delicious and crispy! We also got a platter of their tuna and that was good as well. The environment inside is pretty fun, with pool floated along the bar. The food is excellent and they have an extensive selection of wine (this being Bordeaux it comes as no surprise). I must point out that he desserts were incredible. They have a pastry chef there who makes them! It's also a nice place just to go have drinks. We were there during a FIFA world cup game and they had set up a screen and had some sand on the ground outside, where the bar was. I will definitely go back next time I'm in the region.
