Very cool pub! Highly recommend for drinks with friends or co-workers (not a date place). I thought this was a "Mexican" restaurant, in reality it's got a big and diverse menu. Then the manager came and he said it's their rule to not allow to share because they have to make money too. So here's the background on this place as it was told to me. It's a hostel & essentially a backpackers haven. The friendly workers that are there are mostly backpackers. They even have a chalk board with up coming trips (Zanzibar, Nepal etc.) The service was average because of this reason. I'd say 6.5/10. Anyhow... Some buddies of mine invited me out to grab a beer (bira) & some food. The decor of the place is very nice. The front is pretty much empty and if you didn't know any better you'd think it was another dead bar. As you walk in and out the back onto the "outdoor garden" area you'd be shocked at how packed in the people are. A relatively lively bunch and each enjoying conversation over food etc. Group started off with samosas & beer. I had a Hawaiian burger (yes it has a pineapple), my friends each had a Mushroom burger. Pretty good burgers! More beer of course. These guys have Sriracha sauce!!! I repeat...they have the Sriracha!!!! Great ambience. Great selection of beer on tap & loads of food broken down by regions. This place is for people in "the know"...lots of Turks & hardly any English speakers. Menu is in Türkçe, but the bar menu is in English (winning)! Just do it! read more

I was just passing by on Bornova street, and saw the sign la puerta ! Since I was taking spanish lessons I thought I had to go inside. The Plc is awesome . Back yard garden is excellent! I did not know they just opened! Very nice decoration, wooden touch bartop and chairs and picnic tables. Have to mention the happy hours.
