We popped in here for dinner. It was pretty good. Completely packed and by the time we left there was a wait. Large menu with lots to choose from. I had meatballs. They were ok. My husband had an egg and jamon dish. He liked it. We finished with a piece of cheesecake. More dense than we get in the US, and really good. Nice wine list and a full bar is available. If you don't speak any Spanish have Google translate ready. Not a lot of English spoken, but enough. You can always communicate to some degree. It's got an antigue hodge podge theming. We went here three times during a one week stay in Zaragoza. It is close to the Roman theater museum. Every time we stopped there we loved the experience. The tomato dishes were outstanding as was the Spanish jamon. The wait staff were engaged and fun to order from even with our rudimentary spanish. We had 2 sets of six tapas on our last visit, and I liked some more than others but fun to experiment with. There is a QR code to see an English menu but its largely in Spanish to be ready to use Translate or go with the flow and enjoy the stuff you like most and the ambience. read more

Some of the BEST tapas we've had in Spain...we tried the platter that gave us 12 different tapas and they were delicious. If you're only looking for one or two, the empanadas and the bomb were amazing! Not far from Plaza de Pillar (5 min walk). Staff was incredibly nice and willing to suffer through our choppy Spanish and knew English fairly well. Highly recommend this in your stop in Zaragoza!!! read more

Food is great! Husband and I share a dozen tapas, sangria and vermouth. Five star to for our server. He is the only one serving outside the bar while the restaurant is a full house, he is super fast, kind, happy and great energy! read more

I asked for a table and was shown to one outside. So I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. And while I waited a man was seated at the table next to me. As I was waiting he was approached, his order was taken and he was served both his beer and food before I was even greeted. I left so I'll never know how the food was but I choose to spend my money in places that treat a single woman as they treat a single man, at a minimum. read more

First of all, the staff was really kind. He tried his best to explain the tapas, since it was my first time in my life trying tapas. He doesn't forget to smile, which made me feel comfortable staying. Also, the price of the food is reasonable and delicious! Tapas we ate tasted strange for us. We could not finish all. Their tapas are a bit different from those we can find in Barcelona or Madrid.

Very neat little bar with really interesting decor. Friendly staff willing to work with our poor Spanish, excellent drinks, tasty tapas, very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit when you are wandering through El Tubo. read more
