Great food and great service, always. They have an extensive menu for vegans and vegetarians which is awesome! I love the impossible xiao long bao the best. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. This is a consistent, solid restaurant in the area. The restaurant is never too loud and the decor is pretty. They have a bathroom for patron use as well.

Accompanied my Adira to NY and saw this place. I got my food to go, i was so surpirised as they had impossible meat xiao long bao, and it was really good. You could hardly tell it was not real meat. Also got impossinle fried rice and, beef and broccoli. Everything tasted wonderful! Staff were nice., abd it had a cozy interior.

I came here for dinner on Wednesday evening and it was as delicious. We ordered a lot of food so let's start with the starters pork dumplings, chicken dumplings with a special sauce and pork crab soup dumplings. I would definitely order the chicken dumplings in the special sauce that was so good; the sauce which they were in was the perfect complement. The pork dumplings were boiled and it would have been better if they were pan fried. The stuffing in the dumplings was very flavorful and generous. The main entrees we had the general tso chicken, Dan Dan noodles, pork fried rice and beef and broccoli. I enjoyed the general tso chicken but would have wanted it to be more crunchy. The beef and broccoli was amazing; the broccoli was well cooked and the taste of it was delicious. The fried rice was good and had a good amount of meat in it. The service was amazing; the food came in order and well timed. The staff would come and check in on us and ask us how the food was. The gentleman said the next time we come he would give us the pork dumplings pan fried. The place is nice and has a homey friend atmosphere. It does transport me to a different country.

On our way to ramen, my partner noticed this place. Entranced by their choice of Xiao long bao he decided to take table. Food:4/5 The food is solid. You can tell how good a restaurant is by its patrons. It was almost completely full when we walked in. My favorite dish was the tofu with shrimp. It was large, simple, and a perfect zen dish after some dumplings and nutty noodles. I really appreciated that they don't used fried tofu and the shrimp was fresh! Service: 4/5 We got sat down promptly and provided with ice cold water. Instinctively, I asked for tea, which they assumed bubble tea. After clarifying, I just want regular hot tea they came back with a cute tea pot for my partner and I to share. All in all, service was good. My only pet peeve was their gave us a black vinegar dish with ginger, but with no spoons. So, I ended up having to pour my vinegar into my Xiao long bao. All on all, I would definitely go back again. They were quick, the food was good, and it was not too expensive.

It's still the best place I have made plenty of returns to for soup dumplings and those delicious scallion pancakes. I made a visit today with my girls, and we had all the flavors of their soup dumplings. Pork, pork and crab, and pork and kimchi. All delicious. My new favorite was the pork and kimchi. It had some spice to it and was just filled with filling and flavor. I had to order two orders of the scallion pancakes because those became very popular among my girls. My oldest got her a pork belly soup to take home, and she enjoyed it all. The service is always five stars. Of course, you can buy other Asian dishes from the menu that I've also had a taste of, but we just really love the soup dumplings and scallion pancakes. The drinks are always yummy as well. I got myself a lychee ice tea this time. Although it had a very potent floral taste to it, it still was very tasty, and the longer the ice sat in it, the better it got. Great place to bring family or friends. They have outdoor and indoor dining. This is a two thumbs up from me at this local staple spot. HAPPY YELPING!

I have yet to try their soup dumplings (which seem to be a hit on Yelp), but I have ordered their Shredded Beef with Hot Pepper twice now, and I was delighted both times. The sauce is flavorful and has a hint of sweetness to it. The dish isn't very spicy, but it's still delicious. The second time that I ordered food from here, I got takeout, and my rice was somewhat dry; that is my only complaint. The dish reminds me of the beef with peppers that I used to get at a Chinese restaurant near my old home; it brings back fond memories! The service is great--we got our food quickly, and everyone in the restaurant was lovely. La Salle is a fun spot to grab a quick bite or to order takeout from during final exam season! ;)

Super nice little spot to go for lunch or dinner. Very quick service and seating for parties of various sizes whether you are a cozy couple or a small work group. The dumplings are in orders of six, handmade, and around $11. I wish there was a variety option, but we were able to share. I got the shrimp steamed dumplings and they were delicious. A coworker got some peanut noodles with pork and it was also amazing. If you're not sharing, it's hard to commit to one big carboload dish so keep that in mind. They did not love splitting the check, but they did so anyway. Really appreciate that. I ordered a bubble tea and asked for it to be less sweet. It was really really sweet and syrupy. One of my least favorite bubble teas I've ever had as it tasted pretty artificial. I did get the almond one for reference. The food came out fast, the menu, a simple, and everything tasted homemade. In general, I would not come here alone, but I will come here to share.

Really cool spot! I'm pretty sure the owners are the same as Wu and Nus, but the Dan Dan noodles are equally as tasty. Service was really nice, and the vibes were immaculate!

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

"How 'bout there?" he responded pointing to Excellent Dumpling House. It was directly across the street. I pulled up Yelp, saw good reviews and readily agreed. At 3:30, the restaurant was empty. There were a few takeout orders, but we were the only people sitting down for late lunch. And y'know ... it was pretty good. Wonton soup is what I'd expect in Chinatown. Wonton wrappers were thin -- my preference -- the stuffing delicious and the broth flavorful. They were generous with the beef in our chow fun. Good, but the noodles needed a jolt. So I asked for soy sauce which was sort of a solution. Shrimp with vegetables was great. A lot of shrimp, too. There are lunchtime specials on weekdays, reasonable prices, and nice people work there. Next time it makes sense to try dumplings since it is, after all a dumpling house.

Located within the historic Chelsea Market building--a former Nabisco factory where Oreo cookies were first produced--the restaurant feels theatrical in the best possible way. The soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and energetic atmosphere create a sense of occasion from the moment you walk in. It feels less like simply going out to dinner and more like stepping into a beautifully staged production. I started with a Botanist Gin Martini with a twist, which paired wonderfully with the meal. The surprise star of the evening was the new Cucumber Tiger Salad. The balance of flavors was exceptional: bright acidity, a pleasant touch of heat, and just enough mint to make each bite feel fresh and exciting. Every so often the mint would come through and suddenly all the flavors would click together in a way that made me immediately want another bite. This is a dish I would happily order again. Next came the Edamame Dumplings. They were delicate and comforting, especially when enjoyed with the accompanying broth. The broth adds depth and richness that elevates the entire dish. My only suggestion would be the slightest touch more salt, perhaps even a finishing sprinkle of black volcanic salt for both flavor and presentation. I also found myself wishing there were a bit more of that delicious broth because it contributes so much to the overall experience. For my entrée, I ordered the Glazed Alaskan Black Cod, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. The fish was rich, buttery, and perfectly prepared. What impressed me most was how thoughtfully the accompaniments were composed. The pickled cucumbers brought brightness, acidity, and crunch, while the black bean and eggplant relish delivered deep savory notes and unexpected complexity. I'm generally not an eggplant fan, but this relish was outstanding. The cucumbers and relish sit at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum, yet both somehow make the cod even better. Looking back, I think a glass of Sauvignon Blanc alongside the cod would have been the perfect pairing. I finished with the Miso Caramel Milk Bar, which was spectacular. Decadent, sweet, salty, and touched with just enough umami to keep every bite interesting. The chocolate crumble underneath added a wonderful crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy ice cream and luscious caramel sauce. Every component worked together perfectly, creating a dessert that was both indulgent and sophisticated. From start to finish, the meal felt polished, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you!
