Their cafe con leche was also one of the best I have had on our 2 week long trip. On top of that the restaurant has so much character- get there early to snag a seat inside. The "cooks", if you can call them that, had at least two microwaves going at all times. It's no wonder the food is a disappointment. I was convinced that we should stay and the wait didn't take long! Once seated, we were served bread and our drinks. The bartenders were great. We ordered 5 tapas dishes and they arrived extremely quickly. First the cuttlefish (which was tasty), and then the Bao bun (overpriced but my husband liked it). Our next three dishes arrived together: fried cheese which was served with whipped cream from a can (weird), salted cod (cold and a terrible representation of a local staple), and the tuna lasagna (also very weird). Due to how fast everything came out, I started noticing the sound of the microwaves dinging and I could see one of them open and close over and over. As soon as a dish came out, another went it. No surprise they can turn over so many guests. Just an embarrassment.

We'd been told that this place is known for its tuna dishes, and in all honesty, that's a good thing to be known for in this end of Spain. They do it proud! They use sushi-grade tuna and will serve it as rare as you like (Tuna Tartare) to fully cooked. IMHO, their tuna is better on the rare side. The other meals we had there (my wife's favorite goat-cheese salad, and a lasagna de ternera) were also quite good, but - when a restaurant in tuna country is known for its tuna, order the tuna! Day 2 we had the croquette, and the fried cod with artichoke flower. Light and not heavy. Just the right amount of batter. Then we had the ribs, eat them as a lettuce wrap taco. The meat fell off the bones and the flavor was a sticky Asian bbq.
