Well assorted, it is located in the centre of Milan (100 meters from the S.Agostino metro station). Trained and kind staff. Definitely a place to visit if you are around here :)

Vinyl is on a par price-point, so don't expect any bargains, but instead records for their worth - which in a world where independent places are dropping around us, isn't the worst thing for collectors to encourage. Great selection of italo disco as per usual as well as some good electronic and classic dance anthems but mostly rock and pop filled the bins (not uncommon really). My partner grabbed 5 books from the back, as there was an english section stacked with some absolute gems, including some collectible sci-fi. CASH ONLY - but there is a cashpoint as you come off the tram up the street. Would love to come back again with €100 in my pocket. Definitely worth stopping by on your way to Mudec from the city-centre.

Yes, that 1775. It is likely one of the oldest bookstores anywhere. It was originally a chain of bookstores with others in Paris and Florence and Rome and Turin, but today only the Milan location remains. And in fact is only here in the Galleria Victtorio Emmanuele II because the people petitioned the government for it to remain. Thank you, Milanese, for recognizing how important books and reading are to humanity! This is a small shop and it is quite full. Some of the custom art is very expensive (look through the glass in the floor tiles) but there are many books here that are quite normally priced. And yes, some even in English. How cool is that!
