After taking a few random turns from Notre Dame, I found La Scarpa randomly. The store was not decorated or fancy in any way, but I loved the boots I saw from the window, so I went inside. There is so much to choose from, it is a bit overwhelming since the boxes are stacked on top of one another and shoes and placed in odd places. Not your typical shoe boutique I've seen else where in Paris, but the selection is great and the materials seem to be of quality. Also, compared to other shoe boutiques in the area, the price is very reasonable as most are about 100 euro or less! I found 2 pairs of boots I really liked - one tall pair of suede black boots with a tassel, silver embellishment and shorter ankle boots with gold zipper details. I was in boot heaven and had to kick myself out before I spent all of my money. If I [randomly] pass by La Scarpa again, I will go inside and buy more!
