Newly opened bar specialising in cider.
The interior (which is deceptively large behind a narrow frontage) is long and narrow, and decorated in a pleasing modern style. The main event is their large range of bottled ciders, which come from the Asturias or Basque regions of Spain. Most of them are fairly dry, and still in character, and around 6% ABV.
A bottle costs around EUR4-EUR6, so it's good value for a night out - if you like cider, of course. If you don't, they also serve a good range of wine and a few beers, with tempting tapas on the counter to help line your stomach.
The only downer for me was that the very nice member of staff behind the bar wasn't actually that knowledgeable about the ciders, which struck me as a bit odd for a specialist bar. read more
