Lovely little unpretentious bar that serves both food and drinks. Seating is under a tent adjacent to the restaurant with the ancient stone walls and magnificent Bouganvilleas offering a visually very appealing backdrop to enjoy my drink. As it was a hot June day a wonderful breeze was blowing through the tent adding an added layer of enjoyment while sipping on my wine.
The wine I was drinking was a local white Vin Verre which comes across very much like a Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was quite tasty with mineral and citrusy notes and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating.
Overall great relaxing spot for a drink and a rest while exploring the streets of historic Le castellet. read more
