I had an unfortunate situation last year when I purchased a $100 eye cream that that was not compatible with my skin and actually made my eyes puffier, I called in within 2 weeks, once I had several attempts at using the cream, and making sure my puffiness was tied to the cream. The manager told me to bring it back with the receipt within 30 days which I did. upon handing it to her, she asked me for the original packaging it came in. I stated that I had probably thrown it out when I first used it but also wanted to know why she hadn't mentioned having the original packaging when I called in and requested to return it. I lost $100 here. I wondered it if was an intentional omission. Then we recently moved out of state, and the closest ME to my new address is 2 hours away. I began asking about cancelling my membership several months before moving. I was assured that I just needed to notify them with a 30 day (one month) notice. I had shared with the manager Amanda, that I may have trouble catching up on my credit as I had been in and out of the state for about 8 months prior to moving. As the last month was approaching, they did email me the form to submit for cancellation but did not tell me that I only that if I had cancelled the the previous month (60 days early), I could have still had 30 days to use up my credits! I was told it was in small print somewhere but I was very disappointed because I had at least 2 verbal conversations about cancelling and using up my credits. That would have been good customer "care" to inform me of that option. Then I asked if I could pay the extra charge and give my hour that was left to a friend, and was informed that once you request to cancel, that is no longer an option. SO now I was out another $75. I do not believe I saved much with having a membership with these two times that I felt ripped off- intentionally ripped off. I'm not sure if these sneaky tactics are taught throughout the company but I would not recommend this location to ANYONE.

She is sweet, friendly, very knowledgeable, professional and keeps me feeling young! She knows exactly what kind of facial is best for me. When it comes to massages, I always ask for Jennifer. She always remembers what type of massage I enjoy. I've been a member at Massage Envy since the Collegeville branch opened. The only negative I need to mention is that I find it very hard to book appointments a lot of the time. It's frustrating when you've been a member for so long yet you must book your appointments very far ahead of time. I have an unusual and busy schedule so when I have called to see if I can get an appointment within a few days, I'm usually told that there's nothing available. I feel like your faithful and oldest customers should have maybe some priority when scheduling. And the last thing I'd like to mention is that I have never met the manager and when there are no appointments available, I have tried to speak with the manager to see if there's something he or she can do. I have thought of dropping my membership because of the difficulty booking appointments. I would like to reiterate how great Kayla and Jennifer are. But I actually have not had anyone that wasn't amazing. While I do have my favorites, I have never been disappointed by any massage therapist or esthetician. And the front desk staff are always so friendly and they do seem to really try to find open appointments. Overall, I am a big fan of Massage Envy and have recommended it to many people!! Thank you to all of the employees at Massage Envy!

I can't say enough about Amany at Ulta Salon in Collegeville--she has truly been turning back time…read morefor me for years. I'm turning 57, and I consistently get told I look like I'm in my early 40s (sometimes even late 30s). Maybe people are being kind--but honestly, I think Amany deserves a lot of the credit. She is a true expert in hair extensions, color, and cut. My extensions are completely undetectable, comfortable, and easy to maintain--not just on salon day, but every single day. She doesn't just do your hair... she designs it around you. But what really proved how exceptional she is was what she did for my husband. After a night out, he admitted something he normally wouldn't--he felt old. His hair had gone too white, and he just didn't feel like himself anymore. Someone had even mistaken him for "the older guy in the office who doesn't look so good for his age," and it really stuck with him. I told him, "You have to go see Amany. This is what she does." From the moment he sat in her chair, she assessed everything--his face shape, head shape, coloring--and created a look he never would have imagined for himself. At one point, even another stylist questioned her approach, and she confidently said she was intentionally leaving a touch of white in the front for dimension and style. When he came home, I was honestly blown away. He looked incredible--cool, modern, confident. Think if Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran walked into a room with a fresh, updated style--that level of transformation. He couldn't stop looking in the mirror all night, which I hadn't seen in years. He kept saying the color looked lighter (it wasn't--he just wasn't used to not seeing so much white). But what mattered was how he felt. He looked like the man I met 26 years ago. More importantly, he felt like himself again. That's what Amany does. She doesn't just cut or color your hair like everyone else--she gives you a look, a style, and the confidence that comes with it. No matter your age or where you're starting, she brings out the best version of you. ‍‍ She is simply the best.

I have very fine hair so I'm always worried about lightening it, but it wasn't damaged at all. Paulina was really friendly and kept me updated on what she was doing and the amount of time she thought various steps would take. I've had so many compliments, I'm in love with how it looks. . I don't have much input on the store as whole but everyone in the salon was so friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back next time I get my hair colored.

No one else has ever had an issue with me and I don't really attract much conflict. As a heterosexual male often working in a high stress/high pressure environment, I don't act in an overly excitable way and am generally pretty quiet. Especially for a massage service where I come to relax without pressures of small talk. This has never been an issue before, unfortunately one of the masseuses interpreted my personality as "rude" and decided they didn't want to see me anymore. That's odd but fine. People have their opinions based on a variety of factors and experiences and those reasons might not always be perfectly rational. Had they told me this therapist didn't want to see me, the issue would have stopped in its tracks. I would have just not booked this person and moved on. Instead, they lied to me and canceled my appointment saying she had an emergency. Then the manager advised me there was no issue and I need to call another hand and stone to remove the restrictions on my account. I called the other hand and stone and they said the Royersford location blocked me and banned me citing "rude" behavior despite no confrontation at all. I would pay money to see the video play back of our interaction, it was the most normal interaction you'll ever see. Hi, how are you doing, good how are you, what do you want to work on today, I want to focus on my back. When I called Royersford back I spoke to the assistant manager who advised I was banned from the location, after lying to me multiple times. All said and done, I am banned for acting like a normal person, I was lied to and manipulated and wasted my time trying to figure out what was actually going on. It would be impossible to handle this situation in a worse way. If they think I was "rude" for not engaging in much small talk, do they think lying multiple times and blinding banning me because one woman didn't like me is not rude? I am happy to discuss this situation with the owner of the location, I was only able to have an honest meaningful conversation with the assistant manager who appears to be the main decision maker in this situation. If I had a financial stake in this business, the last thing in the world I would want are my customers treated the way I was treated. I will also be escalating this issue to corporate to verify the behavior of the employees involved adheres to their code of conduct -- personally I don't see any code of conduct that makes their behavior acceptable. Lastly, my suggestion to any one else who considers using this location to be on their best behavior. If you ever have a bad day and don't want to chit chat or respond in manner that isn't perceived as cheery, get ready for the nightmare I went through.
