They have a great variety of food available that you wouldn't expect in such a local establishment located on the smallest island of the Canary Islands. We ordered four cold beers and then my sister ordered the Dominican Chicken, my nephew the Chop Suey, my friend the Stuffed Eggplant and I opted for the Spaghetti. Everything was very well presented and prepared and DELICIOUS!! We ended the meal with an assortment of yummy desserts with expresso. My sister was inviting and was going to pay with a credit card but their machine wasn't working so the server gave her an IOU for her to come back another day to pay for the meal!! He goes himself to every visitor and tells about the menu of his restaurant , giving advice on the choice of dishes and wines. And Your dinner will be fine , even though if you can not understand his English . The restaurant is open until late , which is good for the members of the yacht crews arriving in the port of La Estaca after sunset and strong breezes.

The owner was also our server and she was just the nicest lady ever--very friendly, personable and attentive. Again, we opted for a few cold beers and then ordered seafood entrees and my nephew chose the stuffed breast of chicken. Just freakingly delicious!! Ended this wonderful dining experience with yummy desserts and expresso. They have free WiFi and you can pay by credit card at the table. Make sure you have a VISA because a lot of restaurants in Spain don't accept American Express.

La Restinga is known for their awesome seafood and Casa Juan is one of the best in town. The place was packed but we were able to get a table after waiting about 10 minutes. We started off with a few cold beers and then ordered the Salpicon of Atun (like a tuna ceviche). Very delicious!! My sisters ordered the marisco soup and it was very tasty. We then ordered fillet of tuna and peto and it was a great portion with potatoes. It was just so delicious and the service was quick and everyone was very friendly and attentive. I opted to get an ice cream for dessert and of course our expresso after a wonderful meal. They accept credit cards and again they bring the credit card machine to your table (wish places in the States would do that too).
