With about 250 children and adults in attendance, the space handled the crowd effortlessly while still feeling immersive and electric from every angle. The Fuge itself is unlike any venue you'll ever step into. The history, the scale, the sheer character of the space--it's not just a backdrop, it's a canvas. And what makes it truly special is how that canvas can be transformed into literally anything you can imagine. I didn't just host a party--we built an experience. And none of that happens without the absolute dream team running the show: Jimmy is, simply put, a wizard. His command of audio/visual is on another level. Every cue, every transition, every visual element landed flawlessly. The lighting, the sound, the integration of all the moving parts--it was seamless and honestly mind-blowing. I spent 10-11 months working on AI-driven visuals and a custom montage for the immersive projection screen system, and seeing it all come to life--projected on an unbelievably massive, Disney/Epcot-like scale--was nothing short of surreal. It completely transformed the room and elevated the entire experience to another level. Allison kept the entire operation running like a Swiss watch. Organized, proactive, and always one step ahead, she made what could have been overwhelming feel completely under control. Heather handled contract management with precision and ease--making sure every promise she made came to life, stayed connected and on track. And Sam--the owner, the overseer, the visionary. You can feel his influence in every inch of the place. The Fuge isn't just a venue; it's clearly his passion project brought to life, and that energy trickles down into everything and everyone involved. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. The catering staff absolutely delivered from start to finish. Every course, every bite, every presentation was on point. And the servers and bartenders? First-rate across the board--attentive, professional, and somehow always exactly where you needed them before you even knew you needed them. What truly set the night apart, though, was how seamlessly The Fuge allowed me to layer in incredible elements: Cirque du Soleil-style aerialists soaring above the crowd, an insane laser show by Steve Paradis, high-energy hip hop dancers from "I Am Phresh," and of course the unbelievable band "Don't Call Me Francis", who turned the entire place into a nonstop party. And then there were those moments--the ones people keep bringing up days later. Like when the aerialists were performing overhead while the lasers cut through the foggy room and the dance floor was completely packed--it felt like something you'd see in Vegas or Broadway, not at a B'nai Mitzvah. Or when the entire room hit that perfect peak--music, lights, energy all synced--and you could look around and see every single person fully in it, not a phone in sight, just pure celebration. And somehow--despite all of that--it never felt chaotic. It felt intentional. Elevated. Perfectly executed. Bottom line: if you're looking for a venue that doesn't just host your event but helps you blow people's minds, The Fuge is it. We attended a wedding and everything was just so lovely! We walked in to see a round table with romantic candles and pretty blooms in the brides colors at the entrance. We then headed straight for cocktail hour which included an area for the food, a bar area, as well as bistro tables around a beautiful fountain in a partially open air space. There was plenty of room to spread out and there was never a long line at the bar which always seems to be an issue at weddings. They did indeed serve champs from the bar which is sometimes a rarity, but much appreciated by my hubby and me. The food for cocktail hour was plated stations and included a Philly Love statue ice sculpture with decent sized shrimp. Crab stuffed mushrooms, buffalo chicken, Stromboli, and sausage meatballs were some of the items hubs noshed on and enjoyed. The ballroom was so gorgeous with soft drapery around the dance floor which had the couples names projected onto it. The mood was super romantic and the floral arrangements were just beautiful. It was darker with uplighting and lots of votives. The ambiance was just so, so very right. The cake was also beautiful, and decorated with the same fresh roses found in the centerpieces. It was cut traditionally by the couple but given in wrapped to go slices as we exited. I hear it was pretty delicious. The cake table was set so beautifully with a sequin tablecloth, and more fresh flowers. The food was served buffet style with a plated starter salad. Stuffed chicken, salmon, penne primavera, green beans, incredible roasted potatoes, mixed veggies, and carving stations. Cold salads such as tomato, potato and tortellini were there also as well as olives and fresh rolls. Dessert was served in the same fashion and included everything you could possibly want....tiramisu, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, mini cannoli, mini fruit tarts. I could go on and on. Impressive. The staff was wonderful and had much personality. We had a truly fantastic evening here! I never knew this place existed and I would definitely recommend it for brides in this area. His company is based in PA but he was willing to come all the down to South Jersey on a holiday when many other photo booth companies were either not open or already booked. Prices were incredibly reasonable--as in hundreds less in comparison to other companies. He dodged my mother's and my calls. The first time I called him (he didn't recognize my number) when I asked him if he could confirm that he would be DJing my moms wedding, he quickly gave an excuse saying he was in a meeting and would call my mother back, but he never did. She called him multiple times left multiple messages and he ignored them all. We also tried to reach him via text message, which he ignored. He did not show up to the event and he walked away with the deposit.

The day after my wedding he finally responded to me to say he double booked. No apology just a bunch of excuses. I was lucky to find a DJ last minute to work my wedding, John has since called me twice screaming and cursing at me, once because of a negative post on Facebook and then because his mother and brother gave me back the $400 because they were ashamed of the way I was treated. I do not recommend that anyone hire Johnny Looch, he's unprofessional, and unreliable.
