Low and behold us hangry travelers were determined to get some pizza, so we translated our order and headed down to place it. We gave the lady our best French order only to find out she speaks perfect English!!! We both had a good laugh, put in the order, and only had to wait for 5 minutes for it to come up! I'm not sure if it's because they were hurrying for us or if it's traditional but our pizza wasn't cut??? Don't doubt we had any trouble eating it though, it was delish!!!

The crust itself is light and airy, a feat in of itself, but the toppings are where the originality comes in. My two personal favorites are the truffle cream/truffles/potatoes/garlic and the mortadella/pistachio cream. Recently we threw a crémalière at our new apartment and fed 25+ with Pezzo...everyone was blown away with the quality. You can go here for the good pizza, but I cannot leave out the people who work there...give them a chance to talk about their pizzas and food in general and these are passionate people. They are truly proud of what they've created and will only use the best ingredients. Case in point: they did not have the mortadella pizza for a few months because there was a rupture in stock, and they didn't find an acceptable alternative. Surely the tastiest pizza I've had in years!…read more The last great one was at Elio Pizza in Montréal (Québec), living there made it harder to get a high quality pizza at a reasonable price. Today I'm back in my home country France and I drove from Trappes to Elancourt to try this spot I've heard of as the best of the Yvelines region. Hear me when I say you get a feeling of Italy when walking there, kitsch interior, wood oven smell and the pizzaïolo looking at you kinda weird. But you get what you came for : great pizza! Fresh ingredients, well cooked thin base and golden crust. Far from the "choose 2 toppings" situation, I had a hard time eating half of the pizza but not for the bad reasons.
