This place has been wonderfully revamped by the new owners. Inside has clean lines and well-used space and the outside area along the river is beautiful for the summer months. They do a great weekday menu that is excellent value and gorgeous-tasting. It is fairly typical of a workday 2-3 course menu. It begins with a fresh and beautiful buffet starter that includes prawns and cockles with an array of salads. By contrast, the weekend menu is pretty pricey, but the difference in product from the weekday plat du jour it is really incredible. The weekend plates are so well and beautifully presented to a very high standard. You won't begrudge spending the extra money for the amount and quality of food you'll receive.
