Just when the rain started up again we ducked into Al Faro for lunch. I had the fried sardines because WHY NOT? The special pasta was linguini with sea urchins. Incredible! The standouts were the chicken liver, Sicilian stuffed meat rolls, rigatoni al rustico, and the spaghetti with pesto & swordfish. The rabbit also came recommended from our hotel concierge, but there were too many good options to pass up! With the cooperto to charge and charge for tap water (which I know is everywhere in Italy) this bill cost me a lot more than I was expecting for the service and quality of the food.
