Many of the options are made with local ingredients (lots of lake fish). For 4 first courses, 3 second courses, 3 desserts, a bottle of wine, and 2 bottles of water our bill was about €135 which we felt was a great price for the quality of food (and we did not pick the cheapest dishes on the menu!) For firsts we had the bergamasco cernusci, the Gorgonzola pear hazelnut risotto (2), and the basil shrimp risotto. For the seconds we had the rabbit and the lake fish sandwich with fried eggplant and a goat cheese sauce (2). I could eat any of them again, they were all excellent. We came in with our 6 lively month old he host and waiters were all incredibly accommodating with him. They brought him a high chair without me even asking, they entertained him while we were ordering/eating. We chose to speak Italian with them, but they clearly were willing to speak English with us. I highly recommend this to anyone. It's not a cheap dinner, but it is worth the money, in my opinion.

Our thought was to order a couple of drinks for our party of five, and both of those dishes as apps to share. It was only after we ordered the two apps that the waitress informed us we couldn't just share the food -- we each needed to order an entree as well. For some reason, we didn't just get up and leave, so we ended up having a lot more food (and paying a lot more money) than we had intended. Caveat emptor. That said, all the food we ordered (including those two dishes) was quite tasty, the (apologetic) waitress gave us friendly service (besides the house policy), and the view of the lake was pretty nice. (There were some adult tourists dining there who let their kids run around screaming and chasing each other and running across the street to feed the ducks and screaming some more, but that's not really the restaurant's fault.) Net-net -- a decent place to eat, but only if you know the house rules and are ready to eat a lot.
