This place was a shopaholic's dream! There was an incredible selection of luxury designers, with the exception of Louis Vuitton. The staff was friendly, and we had such a great time exploring everything they had to offer. The deals were pretty decent, and the duty-free option for visitors living outside of France was definitely an added bonus. Shopping here ended up being one of my favorite parts of our Paris trip. If you are staying in Paris City, would not recommend trekking out to the outlets. Firstly, if you are looking for good deals on the luxury designer goods, the inventory and options are quite limited. Secondly, several of the stores and how they are run and how the associates act are deplorable and really ruin your impression on those brands (I.e. YSL, Gucci, Burberry). The lines you see are really fake lines because of how slow they are moving in the stores. Check out at Gucci, took 45 minutes due to incompetence and slowness - unbelievable. Prada and Chloe were some of the only pleasant experiences. Just not worth it being almost an hour drive/metro from Paris. read more

Overall, it wasn't worth the trip out of the city for me. They had all the high end stores that I liked such as Burberry, Fendi, Gucci, Celine, and more but I didn't really find anything of liking. Most stores have very few selections and are the older season items. The only full stores with wide selections were couple stores like Burberry and Gucci. What I did like was Maje and there's a never ending indoor mall next to the village called the Centre Commercial Val d'Europe where you can shop from Zara, Mango, H&M, and Uniqlo without the mass crowd like in the city. Also, if you download a promo QR code you can snag a free treat (differ during promo period but at the time, I claimed 2 free macarons at Laudree). It's located in Serris, 40mins-drive from Paris. This outlet has around 120 luxurious brands to explore such as Gucci、Fendi 、Loewe、Prada、Marc Jacobs、Chloe、Valentino、Burberry、YSL, Balenciaga、Longchamp、Max Mara、Jimmy Choo and etc. You probably cannot find seasonal items here but the prices of out of season items were actually pretty attractive especially after tax refunded. (Credit card tax refund is around 12%, cash around 9%; VAT in France is 20%) Burberry、Gucci and Prada were always busy with a queue. The famous Macaron places: Pierre Hermé Paris and Laduré are also available here. The huge shopping mall: Val d'Europe is right next to this outlet and seriously you might need a day to explore all of it. There is a really big supermarket named Auchan in this mall and we spent quite a while to see the local daily supplies and bought some food. Various restaurants and Bakeries are available in this neighborhood. If you are visiting Disneyland Paris, I would recommend you to reserve another day or two to shop here. It's not far from the parks. (Free hotel shuttle buses are available and you can even walk from the park in 15 mins) read more

We wee told that visit in the La Vallee village for luxury item shopping is a must do during your visit to Paris. So during our 25th anniversary trip to Paris, we made this one hour trip outside of Paris, hoping to have an entire day of shopping and getting good deals. While there are 110 luxury store brands in this shopping Village, the choices are very limited and somebody actually told us that the brand names manufacture inferior quality Clothing just to sell it in the outlet shops. So the choice was not there, the quality felt to us a little bit inferior and the prices certainly were not great. So while this is a good outing and something that you need to do and check it out of your list of things to do, I will certainly not recommend this if you have to shop for a lot of good quality brand name items. read more

If you're looking to buy designer goods for a good deal - you should definitely visit this outlet in France. Among many of the designer brands include Prada, gucci, fendi, Burberry and more! We came here on a Friday and while there was some wait to get inside some of the more popular shops like Gucci, the wait wasn't too long. Here you can find items for as low as half price, and if you're not a resident of France, you can submit for a VAT refund at the airport. The prices listed on the items already include tax so aside from being cheaper you also get back money from the tax refund! All the staff in the shop were super kind and helpful. Most of them spoke English as well which was super helpful since I don't know French. The only downside of course might be that the selection is not as great of that in a regular store. I went expecting things to be deeply discounted, but it was for things that were high fashion brands (I don't usually buy). If you do not live in Europe, you can get the VAT tax, which will give you back coins (money) at the airport. We travelled to LVV via the train. There was a little hike from the train station, through a mall then you will reach La Vallée Village. All the walking we'd done in our trip, we caught the Uber back to the station. read more

La Vallée Village is designer outlet shopping in Serris, France. When we reached there at noon, it was not busy at all but towards the late afternoon, it got crowded. All shops are air-conditioned but to move from one shop to another, you have to walk under the sun or rain (for us, it was raining that day). But, we got free rain coat at the entrance. One word to describe this outlet mall - DISAPPOINTING. If you come for North America! The brands were great but the prices were definitely not outlet prices. On average, the the prices would probably be 20-35% off MSRP after currency exchange would be same price or even more than I shop in my own town. I would not say it's a good deal to shop at OUTLET. read more

Been twice in the past year and have been pretty happy with my finds. The first time both Prada and YSL had excellent selections. My friend scored a Prada leather camera bag and leather espadrilles for 500 and 250 euros!!! YSL had the tote I've been wanting for 55 percent off. Gucci is probably the biggest and always have great selection. Each store selection will vary depending on when you go but overall, the selections are at least 30 percent regular price. To give you some ideas of what deals are there, these are some that I found: Longines, Tissot, and Hamilton watches 40-60 percent, Gucci shoes - 270, Moncler leather combat boots - 175, Gucci wool/silk scarves - 200, Gucci leather bag - 500, and designer sunglasses - less than 200. On top of the outlet price there is the 12% tax refund you get as a non-EU shopper so don't forget to bring your passport! This is an outlet so don't expect to always find new season items but some stores do carry a limited stock from the new season. I would say come as soon as they open to avoid lines. The 45 min train ride from central Paris is so convenient. It is only one stop before Disney Paris! They do have some food options and was happy that they had Pierre Herme. If all else fails, the regular mall you have to walk through from the train station have plenty of food options. read more

I have yet to receive VAT tax refund from both Global Blue Payment and Planet Payment. While at the Village I shopped at YSL, Saint Laurent, and Dolce&Gabbana. It's a big scam the VAT tax refund so if you are calculating the VAT tax savings you may be disappointed when Planet Payment and Global Blue steal your refund. I believe the merchants should look into the credibility of these intermediaries used to provide tax refund. It's not worth it if you dot get VAT refund. Buyer beware!!!! Go online and search Planet Payment and Global Blue Payment and see the horrible reviews for yourselves. The merchants need to do a better job of holding these companies accountable if they want tourist to spend money at their outlet stores.. read more

In the information center show your AAA card and you'll get a vip booklet which has 10 coupon in it, each one entitles you a 10% off, most of the shops accepted it except in Gucci they ask you to spend over 400 Euro to use the coupon. This is a great outlet- not for the sales but for the ambiance and the number of stores. Food court here is extremely packed so bring ur own sandwiches. There are great brands like moncler, Burberry and polo. Of course the America brands are more expensive in Paris but they have good stock. You have to walk through a normal prices mall to get to the outdoor outlets. There is a Carousel in the mall so it's fun for the kiddos. It was not a pleasant experience to shop there, I felt discriminated. Here was what happened. I walked into the welcome center. A Chinese Staff served me. I spoke to him in English, trying to ask for a discount booklet. Here was our conversation: Me: Can I please have a discount booklet Chinese Staff talked to me in Korean! Me: I don't speak Korean.... Chinese Staff: Where are you from? Me: Los Angeles. Chinese Staff: You need to register on our website before you can get a booklet. I showed this Chinese staff my phone and asked him to show me where I can register. He was then playing on my phone. While he was doing so, I saw 2 Chinese customer came in, spoke to a French speaking staff in Mandarin, requesting for a discount booklet. The French speaking staff did not ask them to register, and just gave them the booklet. I then asked the Chinese Staff. Me: How come they can just get the booklet? Chinese Staff: We have an agreement with the Chinese government. Me: What if I have a Hong Kong passport? Chinese Staff: We accept Hong Kong passport. I showed him my passport, and spoke to him in Mandarin: you guys seem to provide better services to Chinese customer! (seriously?! I have never mentioned that I have a US passport anyways) Chinese Staff: (handed me a discount booklet) Miss, just letting you know that US passport is not useful here! If you guys want good deals on super premium brands go to this mall, you won't be disappointed. It's quite a bit far from central paris so getting their could be a bit of a challenge. Spent the entire day here with my husband last week and did a ton of shopping / squared away the major Christmas purchases I needed to make. There are a lot of reviews on here that say the same thing - that the outlets are expensive, not as affordable as they had hoped. Well, this isn't supposed to be 'cheap shopping.' I am American and a lot of the outlet centers in the U.S. are a mix of high and low end stores. La Vallee Village is comprised of mostly high-end brand outlets that are significantly discounted. So I would say that this is an excellent place to go shopping if you are looking for high quality brand name products at a discounted price. I personally found the prices to be very reasonable. The Longchamp shop has the popular Le Pliage bags at 50 euros meaning you save 30 euros as they retail for 80. I bought two of these as they were such a good price. They did not however have the full range of colours, but I bought a brown and cream tote. I also bought a Dolce and Gabanna leather tote for 900 euros (saved 400 euros), and a D&G leather briefcase for my husband for 700 euros (saved 400 euros). I bought a gorgeous handbag at Paule Ka for 410 euros (saved 300 euros off rrp). There were a lovely selection of of handbags at some of the other brand name stores - Burberry (huge selection), Valentino and Gucci as well. Givenchy had some beautiful women's shoes. The handbags at Michael Kors were ridiculously cheap. The Ralph Lauren adult and children's store also had fantastic prices. My husband bought quite a lot of clothes at Hugo Boss, Zadig & Voltaire and Kenzo and all items were significantly discounted. I highly recommend shopping here if you are prepared to spend money on top quality, hugely discounted items. This is probably a place that's more for people who already accustomed to spending money on high quality brand name items. Also recommend arriving early morning as many items they have are one-offs and as soon as they are gone, they're gone! We will definitely be back here next time we are in Paris. read more

Reminder: Showing your passport and bank card with Union Pay at information center, you can get a 10% off voucher.(voucher can not be used on some product) The outlets was teeming with people, needless to say, queue of Gucci, polo, boss etc. can take you half hour. I was so lucky that happened to meet a one-off Marc Jacobs' bag which I like whose size is the only one in the store, original price of which is over 1700 USD, discounted price is roughly 1000 USD, and tax refund ended up about 130 USD, as it turns out that I got 50% off of the bag. There is a drawback in the midst of the experience is that, I was going to the outlets at 8 am by RER, so silly as I am, I took a wrong direction, after I found out and redirected. In the middle of the way, I was "fined" almost 100 USD by ticket-checking conductors. Eventually, I made it to the outlets approximately at 11 o clock. It's a factory outlet. In France. lol. It's small compared to an outlet in the U.S., but the stores are pretty good (with some that you wouldn't see in the U.S., like St. Dupont, Sandro and Lalique) and if you're at one of the hotels at Disneyland Paris, they have a really good shuttle service for 5 Euros a person. Or, you could take the RER to the Centre Commercial Val d'Europe station and take their free shuttle. They have free wifi as well. read more

Prices aren't that low. US outlets are better, but I guess it'll do here in France. Tip: When you get off at the train station, turn right and walk straight into the building in front of you. That's actually a huge mall (not La Valle Village, but better) where you can shop and walk while you make your way to the outlets. That way, you don't need to walk on the empty deserted roads to the outlets. Also, I wish the shuttle connecting the outlet to the train station ran more often instead of just on Sundays. read more

This has got to be one of the biggest out-stretched outlets I've ever been to AND I wasn't able to shop the outside part of it either; indoor/outdoor outlet. It's basically a one stop shop to get almost everything you need; there's got to be 50 + stores and on top of that there's a huge Walmart like grocery store and also a variety of dine ins on a whole level food court! This place is insane. Unfortunately I didn't find much to buy when I was here because 1. the prices are sky high compared to the US and 2. the language barrier is what kept me from asking for help (should've came prepared). I've come across a handful of rude Parisians and its prevented me from purchasing any goods here. But this outlet is pretty nice based on what I saw and it's a pretty clean place. Be prepared to spend half to a whole day here; it really does take that long! read more

Ok place, limited sizes and prices much higher than comparable other outlets. Crowd very aggressive and rambunctious. Not a place for a classy shopping experience. Security has no clue how to keep the place safe for travelers from all over the world. Be careful with your belongings as you might have people try to snatch them and run. Happened to us. Some asian people tried to grab my bags, kept following and harassing me and my daughter, eventually the security got involved and instead of checking their cameras to validate my story started asking me to show proof of purchase of my shopping, I had over 6 bags full. By this time the asians started insisting that half of my bags belonged to them! It was a crazy experience. I insisted on calling the police. The police came and verified that all the purchases were mine. I was finally allowed to leave and the asians that were harrasing me were just let go! of course after all this the security apologized, me and my daughter were both crying after the harrowing experience and decided to leave quickly. Never ever have I experienced this and I have traveled a lot. If you are a big spender dont come here, it is unsafe for people that are purchasing a lot, because robbers will follow you and see what you are buying and possibility of getting mugged will increase. Btw if you are an american tourist never get involved with the french police as they detest Americans and they were very rude and menacing, like we did a huge blunder by asking the police to come to protect us from those asian thugs. please dont read this with a grain of salt, it is an exact description of what happened. If you're coming from the states (I'm from California), don't bother coming here for Gucci outlet. Selection is very small. I have 2 Gucci outlets near where I live and I almost always find something nice. But this place, smh, no nice shoes, no nice belts, no nice shirts and no nice purses for the Mrs. Might as well go shopping in Paris for Gucci! They had a lot of stuff that's only in Paris and there's almost a Gucci store on every other block or mall. read more

I'll share the important tips that no one seems to share or know about - how to get the 10% off VIP coupons and access to special sales. First - they hand out six VIP unrestricted 10% off coupons at the welcome center which can be used at any shop in the village. To get it you must bring either A) union pay card of any type (issued in China) or B) a Visa Infinite card such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Luckily i had my chase card on me. They dont match the name on the card or check if its active, so if one of your relatives has one of these cards. You can borrow it before you leave for Paris. Second - join their membership program (free). You will receive a membership number and barcode. Show that to the cashier, they will give you a flyer with a special barcode for private unannounced sales. When we were there on 12/26, they had a special sale for members only with the flyer that allowed 50% off items with a red dot sticker on the tags, 30% off for yellow and 15% off for green dots. My tumi luggage went from $200 to $100 after already discounted price and I stacked a 10% coupon after that. Crazy cheap for tumi! read more

I stopped here on my drive from Amsterdam to Paris. The Prada was underwhelming, not a wide selection, but the Gucci has many options at very reasonable prices. Some of the handbags were many seasons old but others were fairly recent. Tory Burch had excellent sales as well as Longchamp. Longchamp, however, did not have the black or blue le pillage totes. Lauderee is a must stop, I recommend the rose! The tax free shop only took about five minutes and I got cash back on the spot. We cut our EuroDisney day trip short to check out these outlets and they did not disappoint! A random Uber driver told me about these outlets after he picked us up from a shopping day at Printemps and Galleries Lafayette. He said it was "tops!" and he was so right! The prices at Gucci were amazing and we made off with some great finds. We didn't have a whole lot of time so as I was making my way to Isabel Marant, I dropped in at Balenciaga and saw some steals on their City bags if you're in the market for one. I really wanted to go to Stuart Weitzman but I knew I'd just end up with another pair of OTK boots that I didn't need...and I only had 15 mins left before everyone closed. So I beelined it to Isabel Marant and found my favorite Dicker boots for only 235 Euro! (Which I've paid $700 for in the States). Super happy that there was also a Pierre Hermès there since I didn't make it to the one in Paris. I wish I could've dedicated more than 2 hours here, but I'm sure the hubby was happy I was limited on time to do more damage! This place is heaven for anyone who loves shopping and brand names! It has the best French brands and a lot that aren't French that are just as amazing. The best way to get there is through the exclusive shuttle service which you can find on their website. It's the easiest way to get there and you receive 3 10% off coupons per person to use in any of your favorite stores for using this service. The stores are easy to find and there's no treacherous trails to walk upon, plus there's a lot of delicious food stands and even a food court with lots of choice. If you don't enjoy the shopping experience, this place is really not for you; however, if you're a shopaholic you will have a blast here ! One of my favorite outlet stores! I love how it isn't far from the city and it's one train ride away Arc de Triomphe. Getting there is easy having the Disney station as a mark. One station before Disney Park and you have to get off. The area is very clean and classy. The brands available are pretty much what you would want for your shopping haul. read more
