I called ~8 different places to get a quote and specifically said it's a length alteration for a chiffon bridesmaid dress with two layers. The range of prices I got quoted was $50-80. When I called here, they told me it starts at $19 but can go up to the $40s. With that info, i brought my dress here since it was the best price - even though this place was a bit far from my house. The customer service was excellent, dress was altered within a week, alteration was perfect. However, when I went to pay, the total was $86. I was a bit taken a back since the price was extremely different from what I was quoted. When I brought that up, the girl working was apologetic and let me know she will pass this info off to the owner. Tony called me back the next day to apologize for the misinformation and made it right by refunding me a portion of the cost. I really appreciated his professionalism, honesty, and understanding.

I took a pair of brand new pants with tags on to be hemmed, when I went to pick up the pants I noticed 6 small holes that were not there before. Based on how the seamstress hemmed them when I got fitted, the only logical conclusion is that the holes were created by the large safety pins that the seamstress used during my fitting. Mind you, he was going to be removing about 6 inches from the bottom causing him to pin way above the hem line. At the time of pick up when I brought this to the attendants attention, she too agreed that he made a mistake, apologized and offered to have them looked at by a manager to see what could be done to fix them. When I called to follow up on the status of my pants, the attendant Rosie proceeded to tell me that my pants were ready for pick up and that there was nothing wrong with them based off her "camera footage" that was checked. I was given the run around and then was told again that they wouldn't be assessed by a manager until next week. After that conversation, I received a phone call from KARLA who began to tell me, based off her "initial assessment through photos," that it was not possible that they created the holes in my pants and that they would not be taking responsibility for that. She then blamed me for creating the holes myself. Not once during either conversation with Karla or Rosie did I receive an apology for the service that had been done to my pants. Nor did either one of them offer a solution other than blaming me for the holes and said the "least" they could do was steam my pants as a courtesy. In addition, they used "reviewing camera footage" as a form of proof that they did not create the holes, yet when I asked if they could review footage from the initial day I had my fitting to see that the seamstress pinned my pants well above the hem line which created the holes, they said "no they wouldn't do that for me." In the end I decided to pick up my pants immediately because I didn't trust them to be in their hands any longer. So now I'm stuck with brand new pants with "holes that I created." Don't waste your time responding Karla, I've already read your other responses to previous customer complaints about your piss poor service, also in which you took no accountability for the horrible service/mistakes made by Kona Cleaners.

They customized the alterations specifically for my needs, charged a very reasonable price, and even had my dress ready four days earlier than promised! I wasn't looking to spend too much on preserving my dress since you never know if you'll ever pass it along or wear it again. I knew I had to get my second look dry cleaned anyways so before I drove all the way to Costa Mesa for a quote from a dress preservation company, I did some research and noticed S Grand cleaners had good reviews and offered dress preservation. They were able to give me a good deal since we had multiple pieces. My wedding gown turned out beautiful in the box! I also like that it has a window. The only downside is that it's a pretty large box to store but I'm also unsure if that's just because of the size of my dress. They did an amazing job and gave great customer service. For my second look outfit, I had gloves, a corset, scarf, and skirt. They were very dirty after the wedding. Full of my foundation and self tanner. I honestly did not think they would be able to get it all out but they did!!! I was in awe and very happy. Everything only took 2 weeks which was quick and they were nice enough to help me out to my car. I also love that they sent me videos, which I have uploaded here.

They always greet me with a smile and offer water and snacks. Recently they even went beyond their normal level of service by waiting an extra 20 minutes beyond their closing time. I hadn't known they were closing early due to a holiday but they were willing to wait for me which shows how awesome they are.
